Charlotte Wu

Charlotte Wu-Epenit is a Network Partner at MSM Capital. Through her Sino-German family background and her long-standing activities in the US, she has an extensive network in the three continents and is predestined for international relations. She started her career in 1998 at AHA Group, Inc. in Stamford, CT / USA, a consulting firm for real estate issues. In 2006 she moved to Citigroup - Tailored Portfolio Group in the field of investment management. Based on these skills, she has been supporting projects at MSM Capital since 2009 as a Network Partner in Germany. Charlotte Wu-Epenit holds a degree from Fordham University in New York (International Business Economics).

Claus D. Vogel

Claus D. Vogel has been a Senior Advisor at MSM Capital since 2011. He hold a business administration degree from the University of Saarland in Saarbrücken with specialisation in foreign trade and international management. From 1994 to 1998, he was a consultant at Bühring-Uhle Consulting in Dusseldorf, where he worked for international medium-sized enterprises in the field of industrial and consumer goods. In 1999, he took over the management of a family-owned car dealership before 2000, when he specialized as an independent business consultant in the field of process and cost optimization in marketing and sales. Clients have included international automobile manufacturers and suppliers, companies in the pharmaceutical industry, insurance companies and well-known consumer goods manufacturers. In 2006, Claus D. Vogel joined Mandarin Strategy Management Consulting, a consulting firm with a geographical focus on the People's Republic of China. The client portfolio of his activities included German DAX companies as well as large and medium-sized enterprises. Claus D. Vogel today supports European companies in their growth ambitions in China, particularly in the areas of business planning, market entry strategies, localization, government relations and due diligence issues. His industry focus is in the area of automobile and aerospace industries and their suppliers, engineering, service companies, textile and the chemical industry. Since 2011, he has been involved as a Senior Consultant in projects at MSM Capital.

Dr. Matthias Dittmar - CEO

Matthias Dittmar is the managing partner of MSM Capital. He received his education at the Technical University of Munich (master in mechanical engineering, 1989) and Harvard University (Managerial Finance, 1991/92). He received his PhD at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and Magdeburg (Business Administration, 1997). In 1991, he began his career at the consulting firm Roland Berger & Partner and entered the internationally oriented management consultancy Bain & Company in 1995. He worked in sectors such as industrial goods, consumer goods and services on international projects for clients in Germany, England and Spain from the industry as well as private equity. In 2000, he founded, together with several private investors, Firestorm AG - Capital Partners, a private equity fund specializing in technology and medium-sized enterprises . The most successful exit of Firestorm AG was the trade sale of a carve-out from the Delacher Group to the publicly traded Thiel Logistik in 2001. In 2002, he founded Dittmar & Partner and focused together with his partner Beelitz & Cie., on corporate finance advisory. In 2004, he co-founded Rothgordt & Cie., a Bain spin-off focused on Transaction preparation and M&A that won the Portfolio disposal of various companies from the Thomas Cook Group. In 2006, he successfully sold his company shares in Rothgordt & Cie. and devoted himself once again to corporate finance activities. In 2009, he co-founded MSM Capital with other Partners. Since then, he has been focusing entirely on corporate finance and M&A mandates, as well as on the development of transaction-related portfolio strategies. Clients included: Agro-Norm, Xenios AG (Fresenius Medical), KION Group, ThyssenKrupp AG, Gildemeister Energy Storage, UNIWHEELS Group, u2t Photonics AG, Ritter Solar, Gesundheitswelt Chiemgau, VOIT Automotive, as well as several private equity funds and family offices (including Allianz Capital Partners, Equitrust AG, LIVIA Corporate Development SE).

Steffen Lehmann

Steffen Lehmann has been a Partner at MSM Capital since 2009. He holds a master's degree from the University of Münster and the University of St. Gallen / Switzerland (1987). Furthermore, he holds a PhD in Business from the University of Trier (1993). From 1988 to 1992, he worked as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group with focusing on shareholder value / M&A, advising leading European corporations. After his consulting career, he led midsized companies in the healthcare industry for four years. His management activities included restructuring and acquisitions. As an M&A advisor between 1996 and 2000, he focused on transactions in the areas of media, telecom and high-tech. He has worked successfully on large transactions for VEBA and Deutsche Bank (DB Investor), as well as on transactions for start-ups such as Getmobile. In 2000, he joined the private equity sector and co-founded the High-tech Venture Capital Fund "e-millennium" together with Partners and with Deutsche Bank as the lead Investor. Among others, one of its successful investments was into Suse Linux. Since 2004, he has successfully been focusing on M&A mandates in the automotive and healthcare industry. In 2009, he joined MSM Capital, and today works as a Senior Network Partner.
