Aniela Respress has dedicated her career to the hospitality industry, serving guests in luxury destinations around the world with five-star service. As Senior Vice President of Property Operations, Aniela applies her experience to North American Properties' $5 billion mixed-use development pipeline, which includes: Avalon in Alpharetta, Georgia; Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta; Avenue of East Cobb in Marietta; The Forum in Peachtree Corners; Birkdale Village in Charlotte, North Carolina; Newport on the Levee in Newport, Kentucky; Ridge Hill in New York and Riverton in Sayreville, New Jersey. Aniela runs each NAP property like a world-class resort and is responsible for exceptional day-to-day execution of property operations. Under her leadership, every property-level team member, from maintenance, to security, to Concierge, undergoes extensive hospitality training to ensure consistent delivery of elevated guest experiences. On a given day, these experiences might include arranging marriage proposals, surprise parties, corporate happy hours, wine-filled shopping sprees and more. Aniela joined NAP in 2015 as Assistant General Manager at Avalon and was quickly promoted to General Manager the following year. She took on her current position in 2019. Stemming from her experience at Avalon, Aniela also serves as a Board Member of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau. She believes that engaging with employees and giving them the right tools to succeed creates a wonderful environment in which both guests and colleagues thrive. She empowers individuals to contribute to the guest experience and is always one of the first to recognize a job well done. Aniela began her career in 1997 at the Fairmont Hotel in Hamburg, Germany where she trained as an apprentice in hotel management. She then moved to Munich and oversaw housekeeping operations at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Since then, Aniela has worked in some of the most globally renowned hotels, including the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire in the United Kingdom and the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In 2006, Aniela moved to Atlanta and joined the Four Seasons Hotel as assistant director of housekeeping, working her way up to front office manager. Under her leadership, the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta received the coveted "Five Star Award" from Forbes and the "Five Diamond Award" from AAA.

Barbara Garrett

Barbara Garrett is passionate about creating value through focused operations and enduring relationships with North American Properties' partners. As Senior Vice President of Business Operations, Barbara is focused on identifying new business platforms for investment and operating existing platforms at optimum performance. Barbara started her career in real estate working with retail tenants such as Bed, Bath & Beyond and Party City. She joined NAP in 2010, working closely with the Property Management and Investment teams as they operated Atlantic Station, developed Avalon, and acquired Colony Square. She now focuses on operating the Atlanta office as it continues to add properties and new lines of services. Outside of her work at NAP, Barbara is involved with the commercial real estate community through her memberships with CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women Network) and ICSC (the International Council of Shopping Centers). She participates as a mentor for CREW and Project Destined. In her free time, Barbara enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Barbara graduated from the University of West Georgia.

Bridgette Hager

Bridgette joined the North American Properties Team in May of 2023 as a Senior Accountant on the Investments team. As a Senior Accountant, Bridgette supports NAP's diverse and growing investment portfolio. Bridgette was born and raised in Northern Kentucky and attended Xavier University where she earned her bachelor's degree in accounting as well as her Master of Business Administration degree. Prior to joining North American Properties, she worked in Industry Accounting for over a decade and specialized in Accounts Payable for a few years. In her free time, she enjoys camping with her family and growing vegetables in her garden.

Britni Johnson - CCO

Britni Johnson joined NAP as Director of Public Relations in 2021. She brings with her years of agency experience, having led the communications strategy behind the openings of four mixed-use communities in Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky. At NAP, she manages all PR efforts for the Atlanta office and its properties, including Avalon, Avenue East Cobb, Birkdale Village, Colony Square, Newport on the Levee, and The Forum on Peachtree Parkway. Britni earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Valdosta State University. Prior to launching her commercial real estate career, Britni oversaw international public relations for the first research and technology university to be established in Ecuador, where she secured placements in major publications such as Motherboard (VICE) and Times Higher Education. Originally from Saint Simons Island, Georgia, Britni has called Atlanta home for the last seven years. Outside of work she enjoys live music and fitness, and has been actively involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta for more than five years. She is extremely passionate about community engagement and regularly volunteers her time and knowledge of the PR industry to help nonprofits raise awareness around fundraising initiatives.

Brooke Massey

Brooke is a seasoned ExperienceMaker®, with over five years of experience on NAP's leasing team. She currently serves as a senior leasing representative, overseeing the merchandising of Avalon, Avenue East Cobb, Colony Square, and The Forum on Peachtree Parkway. During her tenure with NAP Atlanta, Brooke has secured deals with several best-in-class brands such as Allbirds, Evereve, Lilly Pulitzer, Sweetgreen, and Warby Parker, to name a few. She is active in ICSC and CREW. Outside of work, Brooke enjoys cooking, strolling the Atlanta BeltLine with her family, and gardening. A native of Columbus, Georgia, Brooke received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbus State University prior to pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia, sparking her passion for the retail industry and launching a new career path.

Caitlin first joined the company in 2019 as an intern, assisting the Operations and Investments team. After graduating from the University of Kentucky and working in public accounting at Deloitte, she decided to return to the excitement and challenges offered by NAP. Caitlin re-joined the company in 2021 as a Staff Accountant on the Investments team. She holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and received her International Business minor at the Florence University of the Arts in Florence, Italy. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family.

Callaghan Luby

Callaghan Luby works with leadership to evaluate and seek out investment opportunities, while also focusing on developing internal processes and tools that allow NAP to remain nimble as it continues to grow. He is active in assessing projects and companies in all phases of their lifecycle. Prior to joining NAP, he worked for Accenture as a Strategy & Consulting Manager focused on assisting energy and utility clients. His work for Accenture covered renewables generation strategy, energy trading and risk management, target operating model design, technology roadmaps and complex project management. He was regarded as a market expert with deep industry understanding and experience. Before joining Accenture in 2018, he held various roles with Deutsche Bank and TrailStone Group across energy trading and risk management. Callaghan is passionate about financial markets, real estate and the economy. Outside of his work at NAP, Callaghan loves traveling and spending time outdoors with his partner, Kristin, and their dog. He graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.

Cayley Mullen

As Senior Vice President of Marketing, Cayley Mullen is an expert in creating experiences that positively impact guests served across North American Properties' Atlanta portfolio. Cayley leads a team who has perfected the art of ExperienceMaking®, ideating and executing initiatives that inspire community, drive value and generate lasting connections. Cayley joined NAP in 2014 as Assistant Manager of Guest Experience at Avalon. After holding various positions at the property level, she transitioned into a leadership role in 2019 to lead high-level marketing efforts at three of NAP's investments. She was named Vice President of Marketing in 2021 and now oversees the Atlanta office's overall marketing strategy, acting as a vital liaison between leadership and her onsite marketing teams. In her role, she manages the planning, development and implementation of integrated marketing strategies at each property. This includes all efforts regarding branding, communications, leasing support, digital strategies, events, community partnerships and public relations. During her tenure with NAP, Cayley has helped execute more than 1,000 community-driven events, which have raised more than $1.5 million for nonprofit organizations. She has also helped the company win nearly 100 industry-related awards and has grown the marketing team to become the largest in NAP Atlanta's history. Cayley is an Atlanta native and graduate of Auburn University. She launched her career in 2011 with Nordstrom. She is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a Certified Marketing Director through the organization. She is also an ICSC NextGen Leadership Network alumni and sits on the NAPCares philanthropic committee.

Charlie Lindsey

Chris Flaig

Chris Flaig has worked in the construction industry for 35 years. He's been with North American Properties since 2008 as Construction Manager for multifamily apartment projects. Chris Shannon

Chris Shannon has been a part of the North American Properties family since 1986. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, Chris began building single family homes with NAP. Over a 15-year period, he built many homes with the company in the Hyde Park and Mt. Lookout area in Cincinnati. In 1998, Chris transitioned to the Multifamily team, focusing on building apartments from the ground up. He has served as Construction Consultant for numerous multifamily projects in the Greater Cincinnati area, totaling approximately 2,000 apartments.

Christy Dougherty

Prior to joining North American Properties, Christy worked in audit for Ernst and Young. Colton Redmon

Colton Redmon has built an impressive career in the construction industry over the past decade, starting as a plumber and working his way up to become a knowledgeable superintendent. With a genuine passion for construction work, Colton has consistently developed his skills by acquiring a deep understanding of each trade along his journey. He thrives on the job, truly enjoying the challenges it brings. Colton firmly believes that maintaining a strong work ethic, being truthful, and completing tasks efficiently are the keys to achieving success. As a superintendent, he confronts various issues daily, using his creativity to come up with innovative solutions while adhering to the project's plans and objectives. Colton upholds the principle of treating every individual with respect, a value he believes in as he manages teams, creates schedules, and resolves challenges regularly. Conor Abel

Conor Abel joined North American Properties in 2023 and is driven to ensure NAP delivers efficient tax planning and compliance for its members and partners. As a part of the tax staff, Conor focuses on preparation and completion of timely tax returns, compliance, strategic tax planning, and collaboration with members of the NAP Tax and Accounting teams to foster innovative solutions. Before joining NAP, Conor spent approximately two years at Plante Moran focusing primarily on tax compliance. He also experienced two Co-ops at Cincinnati Bell in internal auditing and one at Plante Moran in tax prior to graduating. Conor graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's in accounting in 2020 and a master's in accounting in 2021. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, sports, and experiencing new opportunities with his family and friends in the Cincinnati area.

Cristine Sivec

Cristine joined NAP as senior vice president of legal in June 2022 and established the Atlanta office's in-house legal department after serving as senior legal counsel at Hartman Simons & Wood LLP and associate at Beechwood Homes New York. At NAP, Cristine acts as an advisor to the leasing, development, and asset management teams to ensure all business is done in compliance with applicable laws. She also assists with managing NAP Atlanta's outside legal counsel alongside Sheri Ross, vice president of leasing. From an early age, Cristine knew she wanted to be a lawyer and entered the industry as a legal assistant at 16. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and a minor in Business Administration before earning a Juris Doctor from the Touro Law Center. Cristine is licensed to practice law in both Georgia and New York. She is also an active member of CREW Atlanta, ICSC and several legal organizations. Cristine grew up in Hollywood, Florida, and moved to Atlanta in 2011. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. Outside of work, Cristine volunteers at Faith Lutheran School and March of Dimes and loves spending time with her husband and two children.

Dan Shannon

Dan Shannon has been in the construction business since he graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1975. Starting out in historical renovation, then single family home building and site development, and then onto apartment building, he has been interested to learn the intricacies of each phase of project planning, building and management. Along the way, he's learned that everything is best accomplished as a team that pulls together all its resources, utilizes the strengths of its individual members, and adapts to the circumstances that are sure to arise. As a lifelong Cincinnatian, he feels lucky to be surrounded by his extended family and lifelong friends, enjoying the cultural features of the city. Whether playing golf with his son, brothers, or friends, he has a sense of satisfaction in the community they all share and are continuing to build.

Danielle Nelson

Danielle Nelson is a Cincinnati native who comes from the restaurant industry. She was recruited while working at Jeff Ruby\u2019s Carlo and Johnny in 2018 and has been involved with NAP ever since. Her career began as a Leasing Consultant at Centennial Station, where she later assumed the role of Business Manager. Upon finishing her Bachelor of Communication degree at the University of Cincinnati, she was offered a position with NAP\u2019s Human Resources provider, EMS. After about a year and a half with EMS, she\u2019s excited to have rejoined the NAP Apartments team as the Portfolio Support Specialist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As the Portfolio Support Specialist, Danielle supports day-to-day activities, trainings, and responsibilities for the entire NAP Apartments portfolio. Darla Jennings

Darla Jennings is responsible for all of the payables that come through North American Properties. She takes her job very seriously to make sure all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner. She's been with NAP since 2003. Darla is originally from Texas but moved to the Cincinnati area when she met and married her husband. Outside of work, Darla is very involved with her church and friends. She resides in Alexandria, KY with her husband and three children.

David Pugh

David Pugh has a passion for the challenges of creating something new and distinct. As Senior Vice President at North American Properties, Atlanta, David challenges himself, his peers and his coworkers to think outside the box. His hands-on experience with multi-family and mixed-use projects enables him to deliver projects that not only meet but exceed expectations. David has managed and constructed more than 10,000 multi-family units and 50,000 square feet of commercial retail from the Southeast to the Mid-Atlantic to the Mid-West. He joined North American Properties in 2014 to oversee the construction of Atlanta's flagship development, Avalon. With more than 30 years of industry experience, David brings a broad understanding of all aspects of development and construction that has helped him complete many successful projects for NAP Atlanta. He is a Certified General Contractor in multiple states including Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, West Virginia and Virginia. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville where he was a member of the Cardinal men's soccer team. In his free time, David enjoys coaching youth sports including football, basketball and soccer. David believes that instilling in the young people he coaches the importance of the team over the individual is an important life lesson they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. He lives in Woodstock, Georgia, with his wife and two children.

Denise Buttry

Denise Buttry is a seasoned Executive Assistant with more than 35 years of experience supporting high-level executives. At NAP, she ensures the Chief Executive Officer and executive team receive effective administrative support. Denise received an associate degree from Cincinnati State. Upon graduation, she took an administrative role at Deloitte, where she quickly became the lead admin for the Tax Department of the Cincinnati office. Her role there drew her to a senior administrative position at the Silicon Valley wealth management firm, myCFO. She joined NAP Cincinnati in 2004 and was promoted to Executive Assistant to Tom Williams, CEO, the following year. Denise supports Tom's administrative needs while also managing his professional and personal schedules, so he can focus on executing NAP's strategic vision. She also works diligently to mentor and guide other administrative professionals within the company. Outside the office, she enjoys working out, reading and spending time with her husband and two children.

Donnie Banks - CFO

Donnie Banks leverages technology to provide unique perspectives on NAP's business to its executives, investors and stakeholders. As the Director of Business Intelligence, Donnie is focused on data analysis from internal and external resources. Prior to joining NAP, Donnie worked in tax for Dean Dorton, a public accounting firm. Donnie specialized in advising high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses in a variety of industries on tax, general business consulting matters and financial planning. Donnie graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Master of Accounting degree and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. In his free time, Donnie enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and building and restoring cars.

Eileen Varghese

Eileen Varghese serves on the Business Intelligence team and supports NAP in making strategic and data-driven decisions. Eileen relocated from India in 2011 and graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from Oral Roberts University in 2014. Before joining NAP, she worked as a Business Office Manager for the largest Subway franchise owner in Tulsa, OK, where she improved analytics and reporting, recommended best practices for labor retention and negotiated vendor contracts to help the company grow in terms of number of stores, revenue and profitability. Eileen began working with NAP in 2019 thru TecFac as a Consultant for Business Systems before becoming a part of the NAP family in 2021. She resides in Louisiana with her husband and four high-energy kids. She loves God and deeply enjoys volunteering at her local church, which is heavily involved in serving the Acadiana community.

Glenna Clary has been an integral part in providing development support for all North American Properties complex development projects that include mixed-use, student housing, condominiums and retail. Henry McCabe

Henry was introduced to building through a labor job for a neighbor's residential construction company during the summers in high school and college. Though he majored in mechanical engineering in college, he decided to get an internship at a large commercial construction company because he liked the hands-on approach to construction. A natural problem-solver, Henry appreciates the complexity that's integral to construction and feels immense satisfaction in being part of a project from start to finish. He has worked on a variety of buildings, from hospitals to data centers. Henry is currently working with the construction team for the LUNA apartment complex in Viera, FL. As a project manager, Henry plays a supporting role to the senior management on the project. His responsibilities include developing and monitoring the budget and schedule; tracking and distributing project documents; identifying and resolving design conflicts; managing material procurement; and reviewing schedule and cost ramifications with the team. Henry is an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. Growing up in Central Florida, he appreciates all the outdoor opportunities the state has to offer. Henry is an eagle scout and his passion is conservation. He looks forward to making an impact in the community he was raised in.
