After a 37 year career with the British Columbia Ministry of Environment where he progressed through a variety of roles within the ministry, Andy retired as the Regional Manager of Environmental Stewardship for the Peace Region at the end of June, 2007. Throughout his career, Andy worked as a project coordinator and team supervisor working to delegate, motivate and help teams achieve goals. Andy is a qualified trainer in team building, negotiating and communications, and has the ability to anticipate, analyze and resolve problems while maintaining professionalism. Andy has extensive knowledge and experience of local Industry; First Nations; Trappers; and Guide Outfitters. Andy's developed working relationships on a variety of platforms and is committed to public education and open liaison between government and private industry to promote excellence in resource management.
Myriad also facilitates a group of Executive Directors and Managers of Not-For-Profit Groups in Fort St John. This provides an excellent opportunity for networking, sharing and professional development.
