Adam VeVerka

Adam VeVerka is a Partner of NewSpring and leads business development efforts for all of NewSpring's investment strategies. He joined the NewSpring team in 2006, supporting the investment activities of the Firm in diligence, structuring, underwriting, modeling, monitoring, and exiting portfolio investments. In 2009, he assumed the role of leading NewSpring's business development efforts. Before joining NewSpring, Adam was an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse. In this role, he assisted on several transactions in the financial services and financial technology sectors. Prior to investment banking, he worked in Credit Suisse's Information Technology division, where he worked closely with the Chief Technology Officer evaluating new technologies and strategic projects for the Firm. He received a BS from the University of Cincinnati's Honors-PLUS business program.

Amy Wang - VP

Amy Wang is a Vice President at NewSpring with the Firm's dedicated growth strategy. Amy joined NewSpring in 2018 as an Analyst where she worked on investments across NewSpring's family of funds. Andrew DeBacco

Andrew Panzo

Andrew Panzo is General Partner of NewSpring and is a General Partner of the Firm's dedicated mezzanine funds. He joined NewSpring in 2003 and was one of the founding partners of NewSpring Mezzanine. Andrew has over 30 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, and operational management. From 2000 to 2001, he was Chairman and CEO of Stonepath Group, a publicly traded, third-party logistics company. As CEO, he was responsible for executing a strategic consolidation of the non-asset based logistics industry. Prior to working at Stonepath, Andrew was CEO of Net Value Holdings, Inc., an internet incubator. From 1996 to 2000, he was also CEO of Brightstreet.com, Inc., a provider of promotion management services and a NetValue portfolio company. From 1992 to 1996, Andrew was CEO of American Maple Leaf Corporation, a merchant bank affiliated with Canadian Maple Leaf Corporation. Andrew received a BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut and an MBA in Finance from Temple University.

Anne Vazquez

Anne Vazquez is a General Partner of NewSpring and is a General Partner of the Firm's dedicated mezzanine funds. Anne joined the Firm in 2008 and she has more than 14 years of experience in investing, consulting, and strategic planning in growing lower middle market companies. Prior to joining NewSpring, Anne was a senior Analyst at American Capital, Ltd. (NASDAQ:ARCC), at the time one of the largest publicly traded asset managers in the U.S. Previously, she worked in KPMG's Philadelphia assurance practice as a Senior Associate, where she worked primarily on healthcare, life science, and information technology companies. Anne received a BS from the University of Rhode Island and a Masters of Accountancy and Consultancy from Villanova University.

Annie Caucci - CMO

Annie Caucci leads the strategic marketing and communications efforts for NewSpring and its investment strategies. She joined the NewSpring team in 2015 and leads all comprehensive marketing strategies and campaign creation in support of the Firm's fundraising and business development objectives. Annie has over 20 years of strategic marketing experience, including digital marketing, brand development, corporate communications, creative direction, lead generation, and public relations. Before joining NewSpring, she served as the Marketing Director for Verdis Investment Management, a manager of private equity portfolios in real estate, energy, and other natural resources, where she was responsible for establishing marketing strategies and tactics to communicate services, offerings, and value to build awareness and sales opportunities. Prior to joining the financial services sector, Annie worked in the legal industry, where she held several B2B marketing positions at RatnerPrestia and CozenO'Connor. Annie received a BS in Marketing from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Bharat Santhanam

Bharat Santhanam is a Principal at NewSpring with the Firm's dedicated growth fund and joined NewSpring in 2019. At NewSpring, Bharat is responsible for all stages of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio value creation. Previously, he worked as an Investment Banking Associate at J.P. Morgan where he was responsible for advising on engagements across a variety of transaction types including M&A, leveraged buyouts, minority investments, spin-offs, and debt and equity financings. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Bharat was a Consultant with Deloitte and a Senior Consultant with BTS, where he was responsible for strategy development and strategy execution. Bharat received a BSBA in Finance and Accounting from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Bob Valvano

Bob Valvano is a Principal dedicated to the Firm's buyout strategy, NewSpring Holdings. Bob joined NewSpring in 2018 and is primarily focused on providing operational and financial oversight and assistance to help drive long term value creation for portfolio companies of NewSpring Holdings. He also helps to evaluate new investment opportunities across Holdings platforms. Bob has nearly 20 years of corporate development, corporate finance, business strategy, and operational experience. Bob spent 17 years with SunGard (now part of FIS) as a Vice President working with its operating executives on over 75 acquisitions, evaluating, driving and helping to deploy over $1 billion in capital and growing the company from around $1 billion to nearly $5 billion in annual revenue at its peak. Bob was a key contributor to the monetization of SunGard for its owners, a Silver Lake-led private equity consortium, working on transformative transactions such as the $1.8 billion sale of its higher education division in 2012 to a Hellman and Freidman-backed portfolio company, and the eventual sale of SunGard to FIS in 2015 for $9 billion. Following the sale to FIS, Bob became the CFO of the $240 million revenue public sector and education software subsidiary that was sold to Vista Equity Partners for $850 million and worked closely with the Vista team to build out a value creation plan following the sale. Bob received a BS in Meteorology from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Finance from Drexel University. He also earned a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential (non-active).

Brian G. Murphy

Brian Murphy is General Partner of NewSpring and a Founding Partner of the Firm's dedicated healthcare funds. Brian has over 30 years of entrepreneurial, general management, M&A, and private equity experience, with a strong background in business strategy, investment structuring, organizational growth, and negotiation of mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining NewSpring in 2002, Brian founded Acquisition Management Services, Inc. ("AMS"), a diversified corporate development advisory firm focusing on middle-market companies. AMS closed more than 330 acquisitions for its buy-side clients. Brian also founded two venture-backed startups, WordWave, a legal court reporting and broadcast captioning leader (later sold to Merrill Corp.) and Precyse Solutions, a provider of medical transcription and health information services to acute care hospitals. Previously, he held executive positions for several healthcare service companies, most notably NovaCare, Inc., Heritage Health Systems, and Partners National Health Plans. Brian received a BS in Science from the State University of New York at Cortland.

While at Barclays, he executed debt and equity financings for healthcare clients across numerous subsectors. Brian also worked at HealthPlanOne, a private equity-backed Medicare brokerage firm. Brian received a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from Yale School of Management.

Formerly, Chris was an independent consultant working with NewSpring on the Aero Components LLC portfolio company focusing on improvements to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to drive revenue, margin and cashflow improvements, and serving as a strategic advisor to the management team. Prior to that, Chris worked in a variety of roles at Lockheed Martin, including as a program manager for an international satellite communications new product introduction and as General Manager for the Sikorsky Commercial Helicopter plant in Coatesville. Daniel Goldsmith

Daniel has been an advisor to NewSpring Capital and in 2024 will be joining the firm's dedicated growth strategy as a Partner. He is a seasoned technology executive with domain expertise in the targeted areas of investment. Most recently, Daniel was the CEO of Tendo, a software, analytics, and next-generation platform for healthcare services which developed connections between patients, clinicians, and caregivers. Before Tendo, he was CEO of Instructure (NYSE: INST), where he and his team catered to the teaching and learning needs of academic institutions through their Canvas platform. Prior to Instructure, Daniel held various C-level roles at Veeva (NYSE: VEEV), where he facilitated significant advancements in drug development and market entry. Before Veeva, he spent over a decade in management consulting with Accenture, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and IBM. In addition to his operating career, Daniel has been advising, investing in, and serving on the board of early-stage and growth technology companies for more than a decade. He serves as a Trustee at the Agnes Irwin School. Daniel received a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Rochester.
