Newman Signs is proud to be one of the nation's 10th largest sign manufacturing and printing companies. It has been owned and operated by the Newman family for over 60 years... Newman Signs was founded by Harold Newman in 1956. Mr. Newman began the business in his mother-in-law's garage painting signs to pay for college tuition. Upon graduation Newman moved the business to Jamestown, ND where it is today. Newman Signs initially concentrated on billboards and only had 8 employees in 1972, which turned out to be a turning point in the company's history.
