NES

Established in December 1981 by NHK, its affiliated organizations, and the Electronic Industries Association of Japan, NES encourages the transfer of NHK's technologies and the widespread use of its patents. Moreover, the interests of NES go beyond broadcasting to serve other industries including cinema, medicine, machinery, photography and printing.
