Michael Sartip has extensive experience in the area of creditors' rights, with an emphasis in representing hospitals and medical practices. His practice includes the collection of their accounts receivable, insurance denials, motor vehicle accident, workers' compensation, and probate claims. He has practiced in the creditors' rights field for more than 25 years and has written and lectured extensively on collection practices. Trenton Redmond

Trenton Redmond joined Newby, Sartip & Masel in 2019. With Horry County ancestry dated to the late 1700s*, he was born in Myrtle Beach and grew up along the Grand Strand. A 2011 graduate of the Scholars Academy and North Myrtle Beach High School, he played baseball and participated in the South Carolina Bar's Mock Trial and We the People programs. Trenton earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina Honors College in 2015. During college, he was actively involved in the student government association, and spent a semester of his senior year working on Capitol Hill. He received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame in 2019. A parishioner of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Myrtle Beach, Trenton spends his free time reading, going to the gym, and playing with his dog, Pisgah. After spending three years in the Midwest, he is happy to be back home.
