Nile Breweries Limited (NBL) was established in 1951. After several ownerships, SABMiller Plc, acquired the company in 2001 from the Madhvani family. Nile Breweries is now proudly part of AB InBev, the world's largest brewer, after the successful completion of the business combination with SABMiller plc in 2016... Our headquarters are situated on Port bell road, Luziira, Kampala. The company is proudly part of the AB InBev family, the world's largest brewer whose brands are present in over 150 countries. Nile Breweries Limited is the producer of: Nile Special, Nile Special Stout, Club Pilsner, Eagle Lager, Eagle Extra, Eagle Dark, and Castle Lite.
