Alex Wojcik

Alex Wojcik joined BBCG in November 2016 as a Claims Adjuster, based out of the company's Toronto office. His focus is on handling claims for both contract surety and fidelity bonds. Alex manages small to medium sized claims, with particular focus on employee dishonesty claims associated with various commercial crimes policies. Since joining BBCG, he continues to gain valuable experience working alongside Senior Adjusters at the company. Alex holds a B.A. from Western University and is currently completing the Chartered Insurance Professional program within the Insurance Institute of Canada. He is a member of the Insurance Institute of Canada as well as the American Bar Association.

Amesha Lawrence

With over 16 years of experience, Amesha is an accomplished insurance professional and brings an impressive range of experience to her role as Director, Business Development at ClaimsPro. In this role, she is responsible for developing and enhancing relationships and partnerships with national and regional insurers, brokerages, and risk leaders at national corporations while striving to achieve ClaimsPro's business growth objectives. Prior to joining the Business Development team, Amesha was an Account Manager in ClaimsPro's National Accounts. She managed key client relationships for large accounts, overseeing claims processing, auditing, and supporting her team. Amesha is a fully licensed Adjuster in Ontario specializing in Municipal Liability, CGL, and Automobile Bodily Injury losses. She has achieved the CIP and CRM designations and a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario.

Anita Paulic

Anita Paulic is Director of Operations & Catastrophe Response and oversees ClaimsPro's CAT and SMART Field Inspection services across Canada. An accomplished professional with more than 20 years' experience in the insurance industry, Anita joined ClaimsPro in 2011, and most recently held the position of Director of Operations, Western Canada. Anita specializes in operations and process management and has overseen and directed ClaimsPro's response to CAT events across Canada since joining the organization. In addition to leading ClaimsPro's CAT Response Team nationwide, Anita also oversees and manages ClaimsPro's SMART Field Inspections services as well as the Valuate team of professional property estimators. She has her Chartered Insurance Professional designation and holds a Diploma of Technology in Management Systems from British Columbia Institute of Technology. Anita is based in ClaimsPro's Vancouver office.

Captain John Hosty

As National Director, Marine Services, John oversees ClaimsPro's national team of marine surveyors and adjusters, ensuring continued growth of this business unit. John is a qualified Master Mariner and has sailed in all ranks - up to Captain - on a wide variety of merchant vessels including general cargo, LPG, LNG, chemical tankers and VLCCs. He joins ClaimsPro after serving as CEO at a North American marine surveying and consulting company. Prior to that, he was Director, Marine Programs, for an international independent adjusting firm. John is a senior marine surveyor, with a broad experience including general claims, pleasure craft, project cargo and risk control. John has significant technical expertise in the hazardous materials and environmental response sectors. He holds a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) designation and a Class 1 Master Mariner Foreign Going designation from Liverpool's John Moores University.

Christopher Tirrell - VP

Christopher Tirrell is the Vice President, Eastern Canada and is engaged in leading the team responsible for delivering high quality claims services for Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. Christopher joined SCM Insurance Services in 2010, pioneering the Quebec market as an Account Executive for International Programs Group, then transitioning to Claimspro/Indemnipro where he developed national accounts as Business Development Manager, Eastern Canada and later focused on operations as Branch Manager for Montreal. Christopher Tirrell has been in the insurance industry since 1995 when he moved to Quebec from the US as a founder of the Montreal operations of a multi-national car rental company. He spent several years in Toronto as claims manager for Canada prior to returning to Quebec and joining SCM. Based in Montréal, Christopher is a fluently bilingual strategic thinker with a high capacity for analysis and problem solving and a track record of achieving results. He is a licensed commercial claims adjuster and holds designations from the American Insurance Institute, the Insurance Institute of Canada, and the Canadian Professional Sales Association, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Magna Cum Laude) from Boston University.

Dustin Volk

In his role as Senior Vice President, Dustin oversees branch operations across North America for ClaimsPro, as well as, Pario Forensic Accounting. Prior to this role he served as Senior Vice President of SCM in the United States, responsible for all aspects of the SCM group of companies American operations. Dustin has been with SCM Insurance Services for 15 years, holding a number of executive and senior leadership positions, including successfully leading the company's multi-year Transformation Program designed to strategically position SCM to deliver its long-term vision and objectives. His 20+ year career spans multiple disciplines with a focus on operations, finance, and information technology.

Ed Chassé

Ed Chassé is an Adjuster with BBCG's Toronto office. He specializes in construction surety bond claims, builders' risk and course of construction, contract surety claim, miscellaneous surety claims and professional liability claims. As a founding partner of BBCG, Ed has over 25 years of claims adjusting experience, managing surety and fidelity claims for a variety of insurers as an independent adjuster. His earlier experience includes several years with major insurers, adjusting and supervising surety and fidelity claims throughout Canada and the United States. Ed is a frequent speaker to industry and professional groups on the subject of construction surety bonds. Ed is a graduate of Carleton University with a B.A. in Economics and Law, and is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of Canada.

James O'Connor

James O'Connor is an Adjuster based in BBCG's Vancouver office. He specializes in surety bond claims, builders' risk and course of construction, fidelity bond claims, E&O and D&O claims, financial analysis, forensic accounting and auditing, trade credit insurance claims.

Jamie Guse

With over ten years of industry experience, Jamie Guse is a talented insurance professional with demonstrated strengths in Account Management and Customer Service. In her current role with ClaimsPro's Business Development team, Jamie is responsible for developing and managing key client relationships while supporting the procurement of new business. In her prior role at ClaimsPro, Jamie was an Adjuster in Charge where she established and maintained positive relationships serving insurer clients, as well as negotiated fair and responsible settlements, assessed and reviewed damages, and prepared loss reports. She has also served as a Personal Lines Insurance Broker for a National Insurance Firm as well as a Regional Insurance Brokerage, where she built and maintained a book of business that exceeded over 1500 clients. Jamie has her CAIB certification, is a fully licensed Adjuster in Alberta and is currently pursuing her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.

Jean Lalumière

A creative and open-minded professional, Jean works with partners in related industries including restoration, contractors, engineers, and lawyers to increase business throughout the Quebec region. Fluently bilingual, Jean is based in ClaimsPro's Montreal branch. He holds Chartered Insurance Professional/Professionnel d'assurance agréé, Bachelor of Science, and Certified Sales Professional designations.

Jeff Traves

Jeff Traves is a Claims Adjuster based in BBCG's Toronto office. Jeff joined BBCG in March of 2013, and focuses on handling fidelity bonds, contract surety and professional liability claims. He manages small to medium sized fidelity losses within a number of industries, and handles employee dishonesty matters in government bodies, retail, manufacturing and service industries. Jeff conducts analyses of coverage under complex specialty insurance contracts and bonds, and he continues to gain valuable experience working with senior adjusters at BBCG. Jeff holds a B.A. from York University and is currently completing the Chartered Insurance Professional program within the Insurance Institute of Canada. He is also a member of the Canadian Independent Adjusters Association.

Joanne Nathan

With 14 years' experience managing client relationships, Joanne Nathan is an accomplished professional with comprehensive backgrounds in both insurance and business development. She develops and manages key client relationships and helps procure new business by overseeing new and existing accounts and responding to client requests. Her experience as a Manager for ClaimsPro's National Claims Unit (NCU) had her overseeing large accounts, developing claims processes, and creating guidelines for her team. John Saragosa

John Saragosa has been with ClaimsPro for over ten years and has been in the insurance industry for more than 25 years. In his role as Vice President, Claims Administration, John manages the national claims creation and 24/7 customer care call centre programs, the national overflow adjustment program, and broker claims reporting initiatives. He currently manages a staff of 60 employees. Prior to joining ClaimsPro, John worked with a major national insurance company as a Telephone Adjuster, Field Adjuster, Claims Examiner, Claims Supervisor, and finally Claims Manager. It was those roles combined with his work at ClaimsPro that give him extensive expertise in Auto, Property, and CGL claims along with claims handling workflow and process initiatives. He is the Past President of the Canadian Claims Managers' Association, a Member of the Insurance Institute of Canada, a Member of the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association, and he has been featured in the industry magazines Without Prejudice and Claims Canada. He holds a Business Administration Diploma from Humber College, and earned his Chartered Insurance Professional designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada.

Kayla Vetterl

Prior to joining the Business Development team, Kayla worked as an Adjuster for ClaimsPro's Kelowna branch. She investigated claims, determined losses, and reported findings while mitigating client concerns through consistent and transparent communication with all stakeholders involved with a claim. She began her career with ClaimsPro as an Administrative Assistant. Kayla is a licensed Level 2 Adjuster in BC, and she is pursuing her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.

Lorri Frederick

Lorri Frederick serves as President of ClaimsPro, North America and is responsible for the strategic direction of all aspects of the company. Lorri has been with ClaimsPro since October, 2013, and has been in the insurance industry for 28 years. Previously she served as ClaimsPro's Executive Vice President, Operations; ClaimsPro's Chief Operating Officer; and President of ClaimsPro in Canada. Following ClaimsPro's expansion into the United States, Lorri became President of ClaimsPro, North America in 2020. Lorri is responsible for overseeing operational activities for ClaimsPro throughout the continent, including managing the regional vice presidents, conducting regional operations, interacting with clients, and building teams to meet clients' needs. Prior to joining ClaimsPro, Lorri served as Senior Vice President, Operations with a major insurance adjusting firm where she oversaw operational activities for a number of divisions including Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada, as well as working with the departments of Environmental Solutions, The Call Centre, and The National Service Centre. She is a fully-licensed adjuster in Ontario and holds her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Luc-André Girard

Luc-André Girard is a Claims Adjuster with BBCG's Quebec office. He specializes in fidelity and financial institution bonds, E&O and D&O, trade credit insurance claims and surety bond claims. Fully bilingual, Luc-André brings over fifteen years of experience in claims adjusting. Prior to joining BBCG in 2000, he worked in the areas of liability, property and fidelity, and was a branch manager with a national adjusting firm. Luc-André is a graduate of Université de Montréal in actuarial science, a licensed adjuster (Québec, Ontario and New Brunswick) and a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional. He also holds a Certificate in Risk Management and is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator.

Michael Buzzeo

Michael is an Executive General Adjuster, based out of the Calgary office, with a wide portfolio of complex losses throughout Canada. He focuses on the continued development and technical services on behalf of various clients within Western Canada, many of which also conduct their work internationally. His portfolio of work in Canada often includes handling multi-million dollar claims within various sectors; his experience also extends into United States. He is engaged by various clients on a wide array of major complex losses that extend into the Construction, Energy and Mining sectors, to include the lead adjuster on two of Canada's largest natural disasters which resulted in claims in excess of $75 million for the market of insurers. He is a graduate of the Grant MacEwan Business Program (majoring in Insurance and Risk Management) and obtained the FIFAA, FCIP, and FRM designations.

Michael Martow

Michael is a well-known property insurer with vast experience in the handling of large commercial and industrial property losses. He is a graduate chemical engineer, providing him with a unique skill set and base of knowledge. Starting in the insurance industry in 1986, Michael joined ClaimsPro's Specialty Risk Division in 2004. Michael has worked on large files around the world, holding licenses in most provinces and territories. He has extensive course of construction experience, including claims involving the refurbishment of a nuclear reactor exceeding $500M. Michael is a member of the Chambre de l'Assurance de Dommages du Québec and a member of the Order of Engineers. He is currently based out of our Montreal office.

Michel Prud'homme

Michel Prud'homme is the Managing Director based in BBCG's Montreal office. He specializes in surety bond claims, builders' risk and course of construction, fidelity bond claims, professional liability and D&O, financial institution bond and trade credit claims. Prior to joining BBCG in 2001, Michel was a senior claims examiner and claims supervisor with a major insurer. Fully bilingual in English and French, Michel brings over fifteen years' experience in claims adjusting. He is certified as an instructor by the Chambre de l'assurance de dommages du Québec. Michel is a graduate of Université du Québec à Montreal in Business Administration (Management Accounting), and is a Certified Independent Adjuster in Quebec and New Brunswick.

Patricia Foster

Patricia has an extensive background in senior corporate financial leadership and operations management within the areas of risk control, project cargo, procure-to-pay supply chain, logistics, hazardous materials management, and health care. She has extensive experience in managing marine claims including large volumes of pleasure craft accounts. Prior to joining ClaimsPro, she was the CFO and General Manager of a Canadian marine surveying and consulting company. Before that, she was Director of Financial Planning and Decision Support for a large Toronto community hospital. Patricia is a Registered Nurse (RN), holds an MBA from Liverpool University and is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA).

Paul Féron

Paul Féron has been in the insurance industry for 35 years and has been with SCM for 17 years. Prior to joining ClaimsPro, Paul owned a Regional Adjusting firm. An All Lines Adjuster specializing in Personal Injury Claims and with extensive CAT Management experience, Paul focuses on Client Retention and Management in his current role. Paul is presently the Director of the National Executive of the Canadian Independent Adjusters' Association (CIAA). He previously served on the Executive Council of the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association (OIAA), including time as President from 2000-2001. He also previously served as Director of the Insurance Institute of Ontario and was President from 2006-2007. Paul is based out of ClaimsPro's London, Ontario branch. He holds both Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional and Canadian Risk Management designations.

Samantha Sampson

Stephen Agnew

Stephen is Vice President of ClaimsPro's Specialty Risk Division, managing the CCI Unit for the Ontario & Central regions. As an Executive General Adjuster, he brings an impressive depth of experience to this role, from a claims career spanning almost 40 years. In his role, Stephen will provide leadership and direction to ClaimsPro's CCI adjusters in Ontario and central Canada, and help senior leadership implement SRD's strategic growth plan, and ensure SRD continues to offer market-leading, client-focused adjusting solutions. Stephen's past work includes handling a diverse portfolio of multi-million-dollar commercial property and industrial losses. He also frequently represents insurers at appraisal under the insurance act, as well as acting as umpire at appraisal. He is proficient in a wide array of specializations, including building valuation and estimating, content valuation, business interruption, and presentation of seminars and courses. A graduate of Wilfred Laurier University, Stephen's focus, intelligence, and skill make him a multi-faceted leader for ClaimsPro, as he continues to assist with business development and oversee employee training and growth within the SRD Division.

Trevor M. Grzybowski

Trevor Grzybowski is a Claims Adjuster based in BBCG's Toronto office. Trevor is the newest member of the BBCG team, having previously worked internally as a Senior Claims Analyst with a major commercial insurer specializing in Financial Lines. Trevor's main area of focus is the management of Fidelity and Surety claims, while he also has extensive experience handling complex Director & Officer Liability and Professional Liability claims. Trevor holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto in Political Science and Economics, and also holds the Canadian Risk Management designation. Trevor is a Chartered Insurance Professional, and attends various conferences held by industry associations in Canada as well as the American Bar Association.

Wendy Scott

Wendy has been in the insurance industry for 28 years, and with SCM Insurance Services for 13 years. Her role as the Senior Vice President of National Business Development, Corporate Solutions, is the growth of broker business and risk management relationships on a national scale. Wendy' insurance background was founded in marketing and sales for a national property and casualty insurer. Upon joining ClaimsPro in 2004 as an Account Executive, Wendy was responsible for managing national "program" accounts. Today, Wendy maintains strong relationships with clients and a focused interest in network development, new business generation and enhancing organic growth opportunities within the risk management and broker communities. Wendy is an expert at strategic consultation and creation of customized claim and risk management solutions for Insurance and Risk Managers across Canada and the United States. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Certified Sales Professional Designation.
