Jackie Anderson has been representing the State of North Dakota as a Special Assistant Attorney General for Workforce Safety and Insurance for over 20 years, handling administrative hearings and appeals. She has briefed and argued over 50 cases before the North Dakota Supreme Court. As part of her practice, Jackie provides advice to employers on various employment issues and has represented employers in defense of discrimination, wage and hour and unemployment claims. She has experience handling employment related cases before the North Dakota Department of Labor, Job Service North Dakota as well as several jury trials in both federal and state court. Jackie is a lifetime resident of Clay County, Minnesota, and continues to reside near Rollag. She is married to Todd Anderson and has two adult children, Elizabeth and Ryan. When not working, Jackie enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, attending concerts and sporting events. She is a 30+ year season ticket owner for the Minnesota Vikings and attends all home games in Minneapolis and an occasional away game.

Matt is an associate attorney in the firm's litigation group. Matt grew up in Graceville, MN and attended Minnesota State University Moorhead receiving a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal in 2019. Matt then went on attend law school at the University of North Dakota and graduated in 2023. During law school, Matt served as a Legislative Intern for the North Dakota Senate on the Finance and Taxation Committee, and the Transportation Committee. In his spare time Matt enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, fishing, cooking, and watching Minnesota sports.

Thad Swanson joined the Nilles Law Firm in 2016 and is a shareholder in the firm's transactional group. Thad began his legal career in Williston, North Dakota, serving as judicial law clerk to the six judges of North Dakota's Northwest Judicial District. Thad provides legal advice to his clients in the areas of Business Law, Estate Planning, Trust Administration and Probate, and Real Estate Law. Some of Thad's legal services include business formation, drafting and reviewing contracts, corporate governance, shareholder buy-sell agreements, business succession planning, commercial and residential real property sales and leases, drafting wills and trusts, drafting powers of attorney, guardianships / conservatorships, and probate.

Bill Harrie is a trial lawyer with over 30 years of civil litigation experience. In the area of civil litigation, his practice has consisted primarily of insurance defense work and trial work, both in first-party insurance disputes and in defense of liability claims, including personal injury, property damage, products liability, tort and insurance litigation, commercial and business litigation, and intellectual property. Bill has also served as an arbitrator in insurance disputes, personal injury claims, commercial litigation and employment related claims, and is a Certified Neutral Mediator. Bill has represented a number of adoptive parents, clients involved in gestational carrier arrangements, and child-placing agencies, and is the only North Dakota attorney who is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys (AAAA), which is a prestigious national association of attorneys experienced in the field of adoption law and assisted reproduction technology ("AARTS"). He is a former president of the Nilles Law Firm, and is the head of the litigation department of the Nilles Law Firm. He was born and raised in Grand Forks, ND.
