Bruce is the owner of the Nice - Hart Funeral Home and has been a licensed Funeral Director since 1977. Bruce became partners with his cousin, Ronald Nice, in 2001 and is honored to continue the great service and compassion his family has been providing to the people of Frackville for generations.

Joseph Murray Has Been a licenced Funeral Director since 1972 and we are pleased to add his experience to our funeral home.

Joshua B. Hart

Job Titles:

Joshua Hart has been involved in the funeral profession for over 10 years, receiving his license in funeral directing in 2007. His knowledge, experience and professionalism make him a great asset to the funeral home. Josh attended the Pennsylvania State University at University Park for four years receiving a degree in Business Management and a minor in History. He then attended Northampton Community College, receiving his degree in Funeral Service Education in 2006. Joshua Is a member of several organizations, including the Schuylkill - Lebanon Funeral Directors association, where he serves as President, Knights of Columbus, Frackville Elks, Frackville Business and Professionals association.

Larry Rounds

Larry was a bakery manager for Anthony's, TJ Barts and finally Boyer's Grocery in Frackville

Richard D. Welker

Richard D. Welker served in the US Navy during the Korean War from 1954-1957, spending time aboard the submarine SSR-267 USS PomPon and remained active with his boat's Alumni Association. He was employed by General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, Ct; Atlas Chemicals in Mertztown; Goodyear/Reneer Films in Auburn, where he retired in 1991. He was a member of the United Methodist Church; National Rifle Association; St. Clair American Legion Post #719; Schuylkill Lodge 128 F&AM, Orwigsburg; Rajah Temple of Reading; and Orwigsburg Lions. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Almenia (Evans) Welker in 1998. Loved by all his children, he is survived by a son Frank E. Welker of Pine Grove; 3 daughters Kimberly A. Heck and her husband Edward D. of West Hempfield Township; daughter Karen S. Pattison husband Steven K of Apex, NC; Kelli R. Shaner and her husband William P. of New Ringgold. He was a beloved Grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of six.

Ryan Hart

Ryan Hart has been involved in funeral services for over 7 years. Ryan's Compassion and experience make him excel at funeral service. Ryan attended Northampton Community College receiving his degree in Funeral Service Education in 2007. Ryan worked for the JS. Burkholder funeral home in Allentown and received his Funeral Directors License in 2008. Ryan is a member of several organizations, including the Schyulkill- Lebanon chapter of Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, Frackville Elks and Frackville Business Persons Association.

Timothy H. Hahn

We are happy to welcome Tim Hahn to our team of funeral directors and the Nice-Hart Funeral Home. Tim resides in Frackville with his wife Shirley Hahn. The the son of the late Harold "Hap" and Isabel Hahn, Tim was raised and educated in Frackville. After graduating with the first class of North Schuylkill High School, he trained as a Registered Nurse at Harrisburg Polyclinic Hospital before joining the US Army Nurse Corps, where he earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Mental Health Nursing. After retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, Tim attended Mid-America College of Mortuary Science in Jeffersonville, IN and was licensed as a Funeral Director in Pennsylvania. Tim is a member of several academic, fraternal and service organizations including American Legion Post 398, Frackville; Ashland VFW; Shenandoah Odd Fellows Lodge #591; Frackville Masonic Lodge #737; and York Rite Bodies.

Walter J. Kuczynski Jr.

Born in Hazleton, July 25, 1959, He was a son of the late Walter J. Sr. and Evelyn (Rescavage) Kuczynski. He worked as a carpenter and was a member of Bears Head Sportsman Association, and Shenandoah Fish and Game Protective Association. He was preceded in death by son Eric Kuczynski; granddaughter Xena Martofel. Surviving are his companion of 18 years Margaret Dean; a son Walter Kuczynski of GA; daughter Melissa Kuczynski of Shenandoah; Step-daughter Shannon Martofel of Frackville 3 Brother David Kuczynski of Mahanoy City; Kenneth Kuczynski of FL; Robert Kuczynski of Zion Grove; 4, sister Susan Kurtek of Cresswell Gardens; Diane Mervine of Frackville; Marie Dillard of Morea and June O'Brien of Coal Twp.; Grandchildren Evelyn, Lane and Myles Lawson, Gabby Martofel. Great Grandchild Roseann and is favorite buddy Hank. Nieces and Nephews.

William "Gomer" Rhoades

William "Gomer" Rhoades, 96, of, Frackville, passed away Thursday August 24, 2023 at Broad Mountain Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He grew up in Frackville, the only son of the late Harry and Bessie (Dillman) Rhoades. He was a graduate of Frackville High School.
