Brad Kuuġnaaluk Osborne - President

Brad Kuuġnaaluk Osborne joined NMS as interim president in February 2023, prior to serving as vice president of operations for NANA where he was responsible for managing out-of-region facilities, IT, security, safety, quality assurance and business processes. Brad has held management positions at NANA in accounting, IT, finance and strategy. Among his various roles and added responsibilities, he has led the team that implemented a companywide enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, served as president of NANA Oilfield Services, acted as the senior advisor to the chief operations officer, and oversaw NANA's CARES Act Individual Disaster Relief Program. He has represented NANA in professional organizations such as the Alaska Support Industry Alliance, Commonwealth North and Alaska Business Week, and he chaired the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce. Brad is a NANA shareholder with family from Kotzebue. He demonstrates NMS and NANA's deep-rooted values of respect, honesty, commitments fulfilled, cooperation and the importance of family. Brad earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage, with a focus on accounting.

Charley Burt

Charley Burt has served as Director of Business Improvement, Growth and Strategy since November of 2018. Starting with NMS in 2002 as Director of Finance for the NMS Hotels Division, Charley has held a variety of Accounting and Finance roles. Key expertise driving NMS success have included financial planning & analysis, operational diagnostics, forecasting, decision analysis, capital investment evaluation, client proposals, contract pricing, and portfolio analysis. In his current position, Charley leads efforts to apply business & finance analysis in shaping corporate strategy and tactics focused on improved effectiveness of NMS offerings and growth in competitive market space. Prior to coming to NMS, Charley was Controller for WAVE Wholesale Company. In addition to being a licensed CPA, he is a Certified Management Accountant, Corporate Financial Planning Analyst and Certified Treasury Professional. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Lewis & Clark College, Master of Business Administration from the University of Alaska Anchorage, and certificate in Business Analytics from Wharton School of Business. Charley is a lifelong Alaskan and board member of the Alaska Chapter of Institute of Management Accountants.

Derrell Webb

Derrell Webb has been with NMS for more than 24 years in various capacities. He has served in his current role as vice president of operations, food and facilities since 2007. In this capacity, Derrell provides strategic direction and oversight for all food service and janitorial operations in healthcare, corporate, retail, restaurants, senior living, education and transportation sectors. Derrell works directly with clients to strategically design profitable programs supporting client businesses and communities, focusing on local hires while fostering employee growth and career development. His team of top-performing managing directors whose hard work and dedication result in successful programs financially benefit our clients and NMS. Derrell and his team have set an example of operating with integrity and creating valuable partnerships with our clients.

Jason Carlson

Jason brings more than 20 years of management experience and deep knowledge of remote site camp operations to his leadership role at NMS. Jason serves as vice president of operations of the camp services division, where he is responsible for the management and oversight of several multi-million-dollar contracts. Jason provides oversight and strategic direction to the division, ensuring innovative solutions in remote and diverse locations throughout Alaska and the US. Under his leadership, the division has steadily grown its revenue and client base, while keeping a keen focus on safety and continuous improvement. Jason holds a B.A. in organizational management from Alaska Pacific University.

Mikel Christopherson

Mikel Christopherson joined NMS in 2007 and currently serves as the Vice President of Finance. Mikel leads the NMS financial department including oversight of the company's strategic financial objectives. Under Mikel's guidance, NMS has increased its focus on continuous improvement for the company and our clients and adopted new technology to streamline our processes and procedures while ensuring industry best practices. Mikel has a BA in Finance from the University of Alaska - Anchorage.
