Dr. Brian Theuerkauf

Dr. Brian Theuerkauf is originally from Minocqua, Wisconsin, and is Dr. David Theuerkauf's son. He attended the University of Wisconsin- Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in the spring of 2021. His primary interests are in internal medicine, preventative medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Brian and Hannah moved to the Northwoods with their cat, Moe, where they enjoy the outdoor lifestyle and year-round activities.

Dr. Chelsea Delzer

Dr. Chelsea Delzer is a 2022 graduate of Colorado State University. Dr. Delzer is originally from Berlin, Wi. She attended University of Wisconsin - Platteville for her undergraduate degree, gaining a B.S in Biology. She enjoys riding her horses (Ace and Moon), running, water skiing, and spending time with her dog (Benelli) and husband Jared. Dr. Chelsea enjoys the variety of cases seen in general practice and has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine.

Dr. David Theuerkauf

Dr. Theuerkauf is originally from Menominee, Michigan, where he grew up in a large family working on the family farm. He attended Michigan State University, receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1985. He has enjoyed practicing veterinary medicine for Northwoods Animal Hospital after joining the team in 1987. He appreciates the multiple facets that general practice offers with particular interests in ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, and preventative medicine. Dr. Dave and his wife Audrey have three children, and they all enjoy the year-round outdoor activities the Northwoods has to offer.

Dr. Maureen Thornborrow

Dr. Maureen Thornborrow graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After growing up in Madison, Dr. Laureen attended to University of South Carolina where she earned her BS in Marine Science. She returned to Madison for veterinary school where she met her husband, Mark. After graduation, she and Mark moved to Green Bay, WI where she practiced emergency medicine for several years before moving into general practice. After owning and eventually selling their own practice, she and Mark moved to the Northwoods with the intention of retiring but found she missed the animals and medicine too much to stay away. Dr. Maureen especially enjoys veterinary dentistry, internal medicine, and preventative care. When not working she enjoys snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, and hanging out with her two Dogue de Bordeaux, Rubi and Monty.
