Jennifer is a continuing medical education expert with 20 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where she has held successive positions as a Coordinator of Accredited Medical Education Programs (Purdue Pharma), Faculty Manager of the Herceptin Speakers Bureau and Meetings Manager (PharmaCom Group), Educational Grants Coordinator (Purdue Pharma), Sr. Medical Education Specialist (Purdue Pharma), and Sr. Promotional Process Specialist in Regulatory Affairs (Purdue Pharma). She holds a Masters of Arts (MA) focused in Experimental Health and Healing from the Graduate Institute. Her substantial experience in medical education project management includes successfully coordinating advisory boards, CME/CE symposia, live teleconferences, and online webinars. She has extensive knowledge of ACCME, is a Certified Continuing Medical Education Professional (CCMEP), and is a Certified Meeting Professional (CME). She also successfully spearheaded an Innovative Educational Grants Initiative, managing the entire RFP process and facilitating the healthcare grants. In addition to her medical meeting management and healthcare grant work, she managed the development and promotion of many healthcare education resources in the topic areas of Pain Assessment, Pain Management, Urine Drug Testing, REMS, and Opioid Risk Management. Always focused on developing resources to support the improvement of patient care and health outcomes, her team created a workbook resource entitled Optimizing Healthcare-Professional Education: A Planning, Implementation and Measurement Guide, to assist clinicians who have been placed in the role of educator.

Marjorie Crabtree is board certified as an Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner. She currently practices part time as a primary care provider in a family practice at Harbor Health-Hyannis Community Health Center, a federally qualified community health center in Massachusetts. Marjorie also has ten years of recent experience as an ANCC Nurse Planner where she was responsible for planning and implementing national Nurse Practitioner continuing education conferences and meeting all ANCC requirements. She has published twice in the Journal for Nurse Practitioners on the topic of home blood pressure monitoring, and in 2019 co-authored a chapter in a textbook, Case Studies in Geriatric Primary Care & Multimorbidity Management. Marjorie is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners (MCNP), and sits on the MCNP Legislative Committee.

The Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation welcomes requests for information from the media. Ms. Zimmer is a Family Nurse Practitioner and the Founder/President of the Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation (NPHF). She has guided the NPHF portfolio in public policy, patient education, public health awareness campaigns, provider education, and national scholarship, fellowship, and awards programs. She is the Co-Founder of America's Nurses, a national resource for support of nurse-led/owned practices. She also holds a faculty position in the Doctor of Nursing Practice - Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Washington School of Nursing in Seattle, Washington. Phyllis has provided major leadership in the nurse practitioner profession at state, national, and international levels. She chaired the development of ARNPs UNITED in the State of Washington. She is a past president of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF), and led the development of the first national standards for NP education. She served as President and as the Director of Corporate Relations of the American College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP), and initiated the organization's national clinical meeting. Internationally, Phyllis has provided consultation to the development of the NP role/NP education in The Netherlands, Canada, and Japan. She has provided numerous presentations and keynotes in the U.S. and around the world highlighting the role of the NP in healthcare. In 1996, Phyllis was selected by the U.S. Public Health Service as a Primary Care Policy Fellow. Since then she has actively engaged in the policy arena. She has provided expert testimony to the Food and Drug Administration and the Institute of Medicine. She is a "founding member" of the Steering Committee for the international Connecting Nurses project, and has presented this successful program in a TED talk in Brussels, at the Women Leaders Forum of the United Nations, and at the World Health Organization. She received the Distinguished Alumna Award from the University of Rochester School of Nursing and serves on their National Advisory Council. In recognition of her contributions to nursing, in 2012 she was honored with the Loretta C. Ford Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Nurse Practitioner Symposium.
