Dr Lim Yean Teng

Dr Lim Yean Teng graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of Singapore. After completing his training in internal medicine, he underwent cardiology training at the Epworth Hospital in Melbourne, Australia and the Cardiac Department at the National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore. He then spent 18 months at the Division of Cardiovascular Disease in the Department of Medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, USA. He received further training in Interventional and Nuclear Cardiology and subsequently went for further training in Peripheral Intervention Fellowship at the Prairie Heart Institute in Springfield, Illinois in the United States. Dr Lim's special interests include percutaneous coronary intervention, clinical and nuclear cardiology. Dr Lim is recognised as a key opinion leader in the cardiology field in Singapore and the region. Before going into private practice, he served in public hospitals for 24 years. Apart from his role as a Senior Consultant Cardiologist, he was a university academic for 17 years, and served as Chairman, Medical Board and Head of the Cardiac Department at NUH. He was also a member of the Senior Management and Co-Director of the Heart Institute of the National Healthcare Group. He was Chairman of the National Committee for Cardiac Care and Specialists' Training Committee (Cardiology). He currently serves as Chairman, Medical Fee Benchmarks Committee and is a member of the Specialists Accreditation Board under the Ministry of Health and Medicine Advisory Board under the Health Sciences Authority.

Mr Chan Yeng Kit was appointed Permanent Secretary (Health) in December 2019. Prior to this, he was Permanent Secretary (Defence) from 2013 to 2019, Permanent Secretary (Defence Development) from 2012 to 2013, and Permanent Secretary (Information, Communications & the Arts) from 2008 to 2012. Mr Chan's career has spanned a range of appointments in Government, the labour movement, and the private sector. These include management positions in the Public Service Division, National Trades Union Congress, Singapore-Suzhou Township Development Pte Ltd, Ministry of Trade & Industry, Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Education. He was Chief Executive Officer of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore from 2005 to 2007. Mr Chan graduated with First Class Honours in Mathematics from the University of Tasmania, earned his Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, and completed the Advanced Management Programme at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was awarded the Singapore Armed Forces National Serviceman of the Year Award in 1999, conferred the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2000, and the Public Administration Medal (Gold) in 2010.

Mr Hsieh Fu Hua was appointed to the Board of the National University Health System (NUHS) in April 2017 and he assumed the role of Chairman on 1 January 2019. He was also Chairman of the JurongHealth Board before JurongHealth Campus became a part of NUHS. Active in the community, Mr Hsieh serves on the boards of a number of non-profit organisations. He chairs the Board of Trustees of the National University of Singapore (NUS), and the Singapore Business Federation Foundation Limited. He is also a member of the National Research Foundation's Research, Innovation and Enterprise Council. Previously, he was President of the National Council of Social Service and Chairman of Stewardship Asia Centre as well as the National Gallery Singapore. In business, Mr Hsieh is the Chairman of Asia Capital Reinsurance Group Pte Ltd, Eastspring Investments Group Pte Ltd and GXS Bank Pte Ltd (a Grab-Singtel joint venture for digital banking). He is also a board director of GIC and adviser to the PrimePartners Group, which he co-founded. Mr Hsieh started his career in merchant banking and capital markets in 1974 when he joined Morgan Grenfell Asia Holdings upon graduation, eventually rising to head the organisation. He subsequently served as Group Managing Director of BNP Prime Peregrine Group Hong Kong, CEO of Singapore Exchange, President of Temasek Holdings and Chairman of Tiger Airways Holdings and United Overseas Bank respectively. Mr Hsieh is an alumnus of the NUS Business School.

Mr Ishak Ismail is currently Principal Consultant for i-Grow Partners Pte Ltd and also Senior Advisor to Glamco Aviation Pte Ltd. His previous experiences from 2011 to 2022 were with BAE Systems Hägglunds as Regional Director (Asia), with CWT Limited as CEO Defence Services and with ST Electronics (e-Services) Pte Ltd as Senior Vice-President/General Manager. In 2011, Mr Ismail retired from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in the rank of Brigadier-General after serving more than 29 years. He held various senior appointments and contributed significantly in training transformation for the SAF and in developing leaders. Mr Ismail currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the National University Health System (NUHS) from April 2020. He also leads various national councils - Chairman of Families for Life Council from February 2020 and Chairman of the National Maritime Safety at Sea Council from June 2020. Mr Ismail also volunteers as a Member of Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence (ACCORD) since 2012 and within ACCORD his focal area is in strengthening and recognising family support for NS. Mr Ismail holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelors of Arts (Economics and Sociology) from the National University of Singapore. He also attained a Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Organisational Development from the Civil Service College in conjunction with MIT. Mr Muthukrishnan Ramaswami

Mr Ramaswami is a finance, technology and operations professional with over 35 years of international experience, including 12 at the Singapore Exchange (SGX), 21 at Citibank and three at Nestle. In February 2023, he was appointed as the Group Chief Executive Officer of GXS Bank - the Digital Bank formed through a partnership between Singtel and Grab. Prior to his role with GXS Bank, Mr Ramaswami was President of the Singapore Exchange with broad responsibilities helming Technology, Operations, Product Management & Marketing, and International Coverage. Before moving to SGX, Mr Ramaswami was with Citigroup where he held progressively senior positions across Operations, Technology and Transaction Banking in various locations including Mumbai, Singapore, Hong Kong, London and New York with the last role as Chief Information Officer with the International Consumer Business of Citigroup's Global Consumer Bank based out of New York. Mr Ramaswami holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics (Honours) from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies (Masters in Business Administration) from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Mr Ramaswami was awarded the Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat), by the President of Singapore, for his services to the nation as part of the National Day Honours in 2017. Mr Richard Lim

Mr Richard Lim is Chairman of ST Logistics and its group of companies including ST Healthcare and ST Airport Services. He also serves as a board member of the Land Transport Authority, National University Health System, and the Integrated Health Information Systems. Mr Lim is a Fellow of the Institution of Enginee rs Singapore and an Honourary Fellow of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations. Mr Lim also chairs the Singapore National Maritime Safety at Sea Council and the Governing Board of the St. John's Island National Marine Laboratory. He is a member of the Ministry of Health Holdings Healthcare Infrastructure and Planning Committee and the Ministry of Finance Development Projects Advisory Panel. Mr Lim is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering & Management at the National University of Singapore. Mr Lim retired from the Singapore Ministry of Defence after serving more than 30 years in various appointments including Director Joint Operations and Planning, Chief of Navy, Deputy Secretary (Technology) and CIO, and Chief Executive of the Defence Science and Technology Agency. His work has included roles in every phase of the systems development life cycle of complex defence systems where he has developed a deep practice-oriented professional interest in the conceptualization, development and management of large scale systems. Mr Tan Chong Meng was appointed a Director in April 2011. He is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer of PSA International. He also heads the Senior Management Council (SMC) of the PSA Group, an executive team responsible for making key decisions Group-wide. Mr Tan joined PSA on 1 October 2011, bringing with him many accomplishments as an Asian and Global Leader with great experience in managing the complexity, diversity and breadth of a global business. As Group CEO, he is responsible for the overall performance of the PSA Group. Mr Tan leads in both strategy and execution in PSA Group towards achieving higher levels and greater success for the future. Together with his management team, he will lead and focus on gaining PSA share of the value through making the best of current assets and activities and growing PSA port positions and business partnerships worldwide. Mr Tan has also been the Board Chairman of JTC Corporation since 2019, and he also served as Co-Chairman of the Emerging Stronger Taskforce at the early stages of the COVID pandemic in 2020 - 2021. Prior to PSA, Mr Tan served as the Executive Vice President, Global Commercial, Shel l Downstream, a part of the Royal Dutch Shell Group, where he led six global businesses many of which are world leaders engaging in marketing and sales of fuels, lubricants and specialty products to commercial customers vis-à-vis Aviation, Marine, Industrial, Land Transport, Construction and Liquefied Petroleum Gas. With more than 20 years of experience in Shell, Mr Tan has worked in USA, Europe, China and Singapore holding various senior leadership positions, his responsibilities spanned from management, sales, marketing, trading, refinery operations, customer service to merger and acquisitions. Besides keeping a sharp focus on business growth and profitability, Mr Tan is equally balanced in people development, having spent many years leading the Asian Talent Council for Shell to effectively grow and promote gifted Asian talents within Shell. For his many portfolios and significant contributions, he is ranked as one of the top executive leaders within Shell globally. Mr Tan had also worked with the Ministry of National Development, Singapore in various positions for five years.

Mrs Mildred Tan

Mrs Mildred Tan is Co-Chair for the Council for Board Diversity and Board Chairman of Singapore Totalisator Board (Tote Board). She was previously Managing Director of Ernst & Young Advisory Pte Ltd from 2002 to mid-2018. She is known for her extensive work in leading large complex organisational transformation both in the private and public sector. Mrs Tan was appointed as Alternate Member of the Presidential Council of Advisors in 2020 and she is also on the Board of Trustees of the Singapore University of Social Services. Mrs Tan was conferred Justice of Peace in 2008, awarded the PBM (Public Service Medal) in 2007 and BBM (Public Service Star) in 2014 for her outstanding community service by the Singapore Government. Mrs Tracey Woon was appointed Vice Chairman, Asia Pacific, Wealth Management, UBS AG in July 2016. Prior to joining UBS, Mrs Woon was Vice Chairman of Citibank ASEAN Corporate and Investment Banking, encompassing Investment Banking for South East Asia, as well as Corporate Banking, Financial Institutions practice, Global Transaction Services and Global Subsidiaries Group for Singapore. Ms Cham Hui Fong

Ms Cham Hui Fong is the Deputy Secretary-General of National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). She is also Group Director, Workforce of NTUC where she oversees partnerships and synergies amongst five workforce segments in NTUC. In her role, she is also in charge of harmonising 4P (Protection, Placement, Progression & Privileges) efforts across all segments. Concurrently, Ms Cham is the Executive Secretary of SIA Engineering Company's Engineers & Executives Union, Singapore Airport Terminal Services' Workers Union and Supply Chain Employees Union as well as ST Engineering's Staff Union. She is also an advisor to the Singapore Airlines' and Scoot's Staff Unions. Within the Labour Movement (LM), Ms Cham is Co-Chairman of the LM Union Cluster, Member of the Industrial Relations Council, Training Council and Membership Council. She is also Member of the Board of Governors of the Ong Teng Cheong Institute of Labour Studies. Representing workers and the labour movement, Ms Cham sits in several tripartite committees that examines issues in wages as well as workplace and employment practices. These include issues on the employment of mature workers, labour-related legislations and the future economy of Singapore. She is Co-Chair of the Tripartite Alliance for Fair & Progressive Employment Practices, as well as Director of the Tripartite Alliance Limited. Ms Deanna Ong is Chief People Officer and Managing Director of GIC Private Limited ("GIC"), responsible for Human Resource and Organisation, and Corporate Governance for the GIC group.
