Benjamin Sinclair

Benjamin joined Odlum Brown in May 2016, and provides analytical coverage of the Financial Services sector. Prior to joining Odlum Brown, Benjamin was an investment analyst at a well-respected asset manager in Toronto, where he focused on Canadian equities. Benjamin has an Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

Caroline Schein

Caroline has over 30 years of leadership experience. She is skilled at connecting the dots between strategy, people, processes and execution, and has earned a reputation for building strong people and culture practices across industries and geographies. Caroline is currently Chief People and Culture Officer and is on the Board of Directors at Odlum Brown. As a member of Odlum Brown's Senior Leadership Team, she is responsible for directing all aspects of the firm's people and culture initiatives and programs to support the overall business strategy. Caroline has a PhD and MA in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University. She has an MBA specializing in leadership from Royal Roads University. She is a certified leadership coach, holds the CPHR designation and has completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program.

Clive Agyar

Clive joined Odlum Brown Financial Services Limited in 2018. With over 12 years in the banking industry, he brings experience in financial planning, insurance and relationship management. As a Financial and Insurance Planner at Odlum Brown's Langley and Chilliwack offices, Clive enjoys working closely with advisors and their clients to help with their planning and insurance needs. Clive holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations.

Daniel Dandar

Dan joined Odlum Brown in 1993 and has held a variety of senior positions throughout his tenure including Controller; Director, Client Services; Vice President, Finance; Vice President, Operations; and most recently Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management. Dan is also a member of the firm's Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors. As Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management, Dan is responsible for overseeing the firm's internal controls and corporate risk management. David Pearson

Deena Magtoto

Deena joined Odlum Brown in 2002 and has over 25 years of marketing communications experience. She is a member of the firm's Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team. Deena leads the Marketing and Communications team and is responsible for overseeing the firm's marketing communications and brand strategy, including advertising, media relations, social media, events and community partnerships. Deena and her team also actively support Odlum Brown's advisory teams and six Odlum Brown branches with their marketing and communications initiatives. Deena currently serves as a board member for the HERO DAWGS Pet Therapy Society, and is a past committee member of the Investment Industry Association of Canada Communications Committee. Her passion for hockey, athletics and philanthropy inspired her involvement with the Scotiabank Hockey for Alzheimer's Pro-Am, as part of the Steering Committee (2014-2015) and Recruitment Committee Chair (2015). Deena continues to lace up her skates as a member of the OB Bulls hockey team to raise funds for Canucks Autism Network (CAN) through the CAN Pro-Am.

Fai Lee

Hank Cunningham

Hank has more than 40 years of experience in fixed income markets. He has been a trader, institutional salesman, portfolio manager, and zero coupon specialist. Since 1988, he has specialized in the retail aspect of the investment business, building and managing three different retail fixed income trading desks for Dean Witter Canada, First Marathon Securities, and Blackmont Capital. Mr. Cunningham is the author of In Your Best Interest: the Ultimate Guide to the Canadian Bond Market and a frequent guest on the Business News Network (BNN).

Kimberley Priebe

Kimberley prepares personal financial projections and is passionate about helping people understand their financial situation. Kimberley can address questions about saving for retirement or other goals, debt repayment, drawing income during retirement, tax and estate planning information, and many other areas. As part of Odlum Brown Financial Services Limited, Kimberley helps clients connect their big-picture goals with their saving, income and investment strategies. Kimberley grew up in Kelowna and moved to Victoria to attend the University of Victoria, where she completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree. Kimberley joined Odlum Brown after graduation and worked as an Investment Assistant for nearly a decade. After taking a few years off to spend time with her young children, Kimberley returned to the Victoria office as a Financial Planner. Kimberley earned a spot on FP Canada's™ President's List when she achieved the second highest mark on the May 2021 CFP® examination, and attained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2022. Outside of work, Kimberley is a new, but avid, gardener and appreciates that Victoria's climate allows her to spend time in her garden (nearly) all year round.

Mark Srdanovic joined Odlum Brown Limited in 2014 as Senior Compliance Officer and subsequently became the Alternate Registered Options Principal. In 2017, he assumed the role of Chief Compliance Officer and is a member of the firm's Senior Leadership Team. With 15 years of compliance experience in the financial services industry, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to his role. He works diligently to ensure that Odlum Brown meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements. Mark is a registered Options Supervisor and he earned his CFP® designation in 2008. In 2023, Mark achieved the Fellow of CSI (FCSI®) designation. The FCSI® is the highest honour awarded by the Canadian Securities Institute and is reserved for financial professionals who demonstrate unparalleled leadership, integrity, commitment and dedication to their clients and industry. Max Caron

Max grew up in Kingston, Ontario, before moving with his family to Kelowna in 2007. After graduating from Concordia University and retiring from the Canadian Football League in 2017, Max joined Odlum Brown Financial Services Limited in 2022 from a financial planning position at one of Canada's largest banks. Max uses his knowledge and experience to help clients bring their financial goals to life. He guides clients on how to align their finances to their priorities, values and purpose. Max's in-depth planning process centers around building a clear and comprehensive framework that leads to well-informed financial decisions. He then develops and reviews strategies that cater to each client's financial, estate or holistic planning goals. Outside of work, Max enjoys spending time outside while staying active with his wife, Lindsay (who is part of Odlum Brown's Kelowna team), and their two young sons.

Murray Leith - Chief Investment Officer

Murray is Chief Investment Officer and a Director of the firm, as well as a member of Odlum Brown's Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team. Murray joined the firm in 1994 and has run the Odlum Brown Research Department since that time, including establishing and overseeing the hypothetical all-equity Odlum Brown Model Portfolio. Murray formulates the firm's economic outlook and investment strategy. He is passionate about investing and is known for his ability to share investment ideas in a clear and engaging manner. Murray is regularly quoted in the local and national press and interviewed by the television media. Murray is a strong supporter of Odlum Brown's charitable giving programs and is an active fundraiser for the BC Cancer Foundation. He is also a mentor and counsellor for students in UBC's Portfolio Management Foundation. He serves as Chair of Simon Fraser University's Investment Advisory Committee and is on the Board of Cloverdale Paint. Previously, Murray served on the board of the BC Cancer Foundation and chaired their Investment Committee for two consecutive three-year terms. He also served as a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of the Vancouver School of Theology. Murray has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance Major with Honours) from UBC and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Pete Pacholko - CFO, COO

Pete has nearly 40 years of experience with Odlum Brown and in the investment industry. He brings considerable knowledge of strategic planning, corporate governance, risk management, financial management and operational leadership. He is a member of the firm's Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team. Pete is an active member of several industry associations, including the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO). He is in involved in CIRO's Conduct, Compliance and Legal Advisory Section and the Financial and Operations Advisory Section (FOAS). As a member of the FOAS, he participates in the Operations Subcommittee. He has been a member of the Canadian Depository for Securities Limited and Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation's respective Board of Directors, Governance Committee and Risk and Audit Committee since 2022. In 2025, he was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Canadian Investor Protection Fund. Richard Myers

Richard holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designations. Rick Gendemann

Rick joined Odlum Brown Financial Services Limited in 2025 after his role as a senior partner with a leading BC-based accounting and business advisory firm for 28 years. His career has been focused in the areas of tax planning for individuals, companies and trusts, family wealth transition and continuity planning services, advising on business transition and delivering business advisory services to help clients grow the value of their business. He is committed to helping business families create a roadmap for successfully transferring their entrepreneurship and economic wealth across multiple family generations. Rick is also a graduate of the Institute of Family Enterprise Advisors program, which provides a comprehensive education in knowledge and best practices in family enterprise advising. Rick understands the importance and value that proactive planning can have in successfully dealing with business transitions and wealth continuity planning for enterprising families. His holistic advisory approach and perspective embraces the overall business and personal visions of entrepreneurs and their families, which has allowed him to become a trusted advisor to clients. Trevor Short

Trevor was appointed President of Odlum Brown in 2024 after nearly 30 years of experience with the firm. Before assuming the role of President, Trevor was a Vice President and Director of Odlum Brown and served clients as a Portfolio Manager. During his decades of experience on the retail advisory side of our business, Trevor upheld Odlum Brown's core value of putting clients first. As a Portfolio Manager, he led a high-performing advisory team and was well-known for the strong relationships and trust he built with clients. Trevor attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, on a soccer scholarship and later graduated from the University of British Columbia. In 1996, he began his career at Odlum Brown, working on the fixed income desk trading money market securities and bonds. In 2000, he joined the retail advisory side of the business, and in 2009 earned the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation along with the highest designation granted from the Canadian Securities Institute, the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®). Trevor lives on the North Shore with his wife and three children. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, he continues to enjoy soccer, mountain biking and skiing.

Warren Beach

Warren is Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at Odlum Brown. In this role, he is responsible for developing and leading the strategy and innovation processes required to achieve the firm's vision and purpose. Warren is a Director of the firm and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Warren has over 30 years of business experience in a diverse range of industries and is recognized as a strong leader in the business community. He has acted as Chief Financial Officer at some of BC's most significant companies, including Sierra Systems Group Inc., TimberWest and Aritzia. Warren has also acted as Chief Executive Officer for Hold It All Inc. and Augusta Capital Corp. Warren is very active in his community. He currently serves as a Director of the BC Parks Foundation and as a member of its Executive Committee. He also chairs the Finance & Audit Committee of this foundation. Warren serves on the Finance & Audit Committee of Alumni UBC and is a member of the Advisory Council. He is also a member of the UBC Gold For Life Committee, supporting rowing at UBC. Previously, Warren served for seven years as Board Vice-Chair with BC Women's Health Foundation. He served for over 10 years as a Foundation Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Coast BC and for seven years on the Cabinet of United Way BC, including acting as Cabinet Co-Chair. Warren is a graduate of the University of British Columbia.
