Chad Costello

Chad has two main passions: music and architecture. Chad has always been fascinated by instrumental music. He originally wanted to pursue a degree in percussion music performance until his art teacher sparked his interest in architecture. After learning that he had a talent for drawing, his passion for architecture and design grew. His artistic nature allows him to be more creative when coordinating, prepping, and designing projects. Chad attended Kent State University and achieved his bachelor's degree in architecture. He worked in the healthcare industry for the first twenty years of his career and also had his own architecture firm for some time.

Elizabeth Nicklas

Job Titles:
  • Designer
Elizabeth attended Kent State University and chose to pursue architecture based on her interest in art and math. Her enthusiasm and appreciation of architecture grew after shadowing a local architecture firm and studying abroad in Florence, Italy. At the end of Elizabeth's junior year in college, she began interning with Peninsula Architects. In 2017 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and was hired as a part-time designer while she was finishing her Master's degree. In 2018 Elizabeth earned her Master of Architecture from Kent State University and permanently moved to Ohio to continue working for the Peninsula team.

Elyse Winch

Job Titles:
  • Interior Designer
Elyse always knew she wanted to be an interior designer. While in school, she completed impactful internships for smaller residential firms that solidified her interest in the field. She graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in interior design. Upon graduation, Elyse chose to stay in the area with the hopes of one day joining the Peninsula Architects team. During this time, she worked at a commercial firm, helping her to become a well-rounded interior designer. Joining Her Dream Team Elyse enjoys being a member of the Peninsula Architects team. As an interior designer, she prepares project schedules, meets with clients, and creates drawings and renderings. Elyse enjoys working on projects that allow her to connect with clients and create customizations that help fulfill their needs and desires. She shares that she is eager to get to work and share her expertise with the team.

Joseph Matava

Matthew Schwarz - COO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Operating Officer
Matthew's interest in architecture began one day in middle school art class when a college student came to discuss architecture as a degree path. He says that it seemed like a great blend of art and math and since that day, he has pursued a career in architecture. Matthew graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Architecture. After working for various firms, he began working for Peninsula Architects in commercial design. While working for Peninsula, he returned to school and earned a Master's degree in Library and Information Science.

Nate Bailey

Job Titles:
  • Project Architect
Nate began his educational career at Owens Community College, where he received his Associate Degree in Fine Arts. After interning for several summers in Austin, Texas, he chose to continue his education at Kent State University earning a Master of Architecture degree, launching his career as an Architect.

Quinn Miller

Quinn Miller has been fascinated with design and construction since he was a little boy. From building a makeshift airplane in elementary school to helping his uncle rebuild a home as a teenager, Quinn's passion for architectural design is rooted in his curiosity and deep appreciation for the satisfaction that comes from a hard day's work. Quinn attended Kent State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. His education gave him the freedom to experiment with a diverse array of projects and provided invaluable experience in architectural design.
