Darryl Wolfe - CEO

When Darryl isn't overseeing the nearly 1,700 employees of Olympic Medical Center as the Chief Executive Officer, you'll often find him cycling or running in different parts of the Olympic Peninsula. He is also an avid hiker and has been known to explore far into the back county of the Olympic Mountains. Darryl considers the start of his career to be working summers in a custom cabinet shop with his dad as a 15-year-old in California. This was the start of a rich work history in financial services, manufacturing and construction before coming to healthcare, where he most enjoys playing a part in the mission "with the people who fulfill that mission for the betterment of patients." As a leader of OMC since 2020, Darryl has consciously grown his skillset over a long period of time. As CEO, he encourages the OMC team to continue learning and growing as they bring excellent healthcare to patients on the Peninsula.

Joshua Jones

According to Josh Jones, MD, he knew he was going to be a doctor in the 4 th grade. The licensed psychiatrist and chief physician officer overseeing Olympic Medical Physicians since 2016 has always had a drive to help others, and throughout his career he's found a multitude of ways to do just that. From creating a safer community during his fellowship in Rochester, New York by running a Sex Offender Treatment Program, to serving with the U.S. Army 1385 th Medical Detachment as a psychiatrist during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008, Dr. Jones keeps his eye on bettering the world around him. As the only forensic psychiatrist working as a physician executive at a rural acute care hospital and clinic setting, Dr. Jones says he enjoys the "constant problem solving it takes to bring healthcare to a rural environment like the Olympic Peninsula." While out in the community, you may hear Dr. Jones's voice as the finish line announcer of the series of races hosted by Run the Peninsula, of which he serves as Board President. Dr. Jones grew up in Kelso, Washington before heading north to University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington where he completed his undergraduate degree. He followed with medical school at University of Washington in Seattle, a psychiatry residency at University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont and, finally, a forensic psychiatry fellowship at University of Rochester in New York. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, running, playing tennis, partaking in trivia, admiring his extensive LEGO® collection and spending time with his wife Victoria and two teenage children.

Lorraine Cannon - CFO

As an experienced Chief Financial Officer, Lorraine Cannon has a proven track record in the Hospital and Health Care industry, making her a welcome addition to OMC when she joined as CFO in 2020. Her expertise lies in financial operations, executive financial management, financial reporting, and budget process. Lorraine holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Webster University, making her a strong finance professional. She can navigate the financial landscape of the healthcare industry with expertise, providing valuable insights and guidance. With her education and experience, Lorraine is well equipped to make sound financial decisions that benefit the OMC and, in turn, the patients and community we serve. Education: MBA in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Webster University

Ryan Combs - COO

Ryan Combs joined OMC in 2022 from Samaritan Health Services in Oregon, where he spent 10 years leading various groups throughout the health care organization as a COO and Vice President. Ryan brings his passion for healthcare and the outdoors into his role as COO, channeling his experience leading SHS primary and specialty care clinics and Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital with his background as a paramedic and white water rafting guide. "I rely on my skills as a rafting guide almost every day," said Ryan. "As a guide, you need people to trust you, you need to manage multiple expectations, and you need to ensure everyone has a good experience. Managing these needs is a part of being a COO, as well." Combs grew up in Bend, Oregon before completing his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Master of Science in Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University in Beckley, West Virginia. In addition to spending his free time outdoors rafting, paddle boarding, skiing and hiking, Combs enjoys time with his partner Amanda and two young adult children.

Scott Kennedy

Scott Kennedy, MD is the Chief Medical Officer at Olympic Medical Center (OMC) in Port Angeles, Washington. He is board certified in Family Practice and has practiced in a variety of medical settings, including four years as a primary care physician and clinical director with the U.S. Public Health Service in Kotzebue, Alaska, and family medicine for 11 years in the Port Angeles area. Subsequently, he developed the Chief Medical Officer role at OMC where he serves on the Administrative Leadership Team and works closely with medical staff and an array of ancillary services. Dr. Kennedy serves on the Washington State Hospital Association (WSHA) Patient Safety Committee and the combined WSHA and WSMA Medical Officers Advisory Group. The Advisory Group plans safe table learning collaboratives aimed at bringing hospital and outpatient physician leadership together to advance quality and safety initiatives across our state. Dr. Kennedy graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his residency at Tacoma Family Medicine.

Vickie Swanson
