JD Smith are a team of logisticians who plan, implement and control the efficient and effective flow of client goods between point of origin, through storage, and to the point of consumption. In business since 1919, our mission is to support our customers and execute their business strategy.
JD Smith handles the following products: Food, apparel, general merchandise, medical, paper, raw materials, and has special expertise with HACCP, complex value added services, CFIA office, web fulfillment.
Bob Goral has been in the grocery warehousing and distribution business for the past 35 years. He is currently an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the Warehouse Education Research Council. In the past, Bob was a principal at a major grocery warehousing company in New Jersey, with experience in the areas of operations, marketing, and financial management. His familiarity with consumer package good warehousing operations and financial management as well as his involvement in international and domestic transportation make him one of the most experienced and knowledgeable people in the room at the annual trade shows. Some of the companies Bob has worked with include: Coors/Miller, Unilever, FedEx, Kimberly-Clark, Nestle, HJ Heinz, E&J Gallo Winery, and Cumberland Packing (Sweet n' Low). When he's not on the job, Bob follows the Yankees and positively lives for the New York Jets.
