Christopher Epes - Chief Legal Officer, Managing Director

Christopher Epes is responsible for the oversight of the legal functions of the firm and is a member of the firm's Risk Committee and Cybersecurity Committee. Mr. Epes also served as the firm's CCO since its inception until June 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Epes was a Senior Vice President with Lehman Brothers. He served as an attorney in the Office of the General Counsel, advising the fixed income division as well as operating in various business capacities, most recently within the Global Special Opportunities group. Prior to Lehman Brothers, Mr. Epes was an Associate at the law firms of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, and Hawkins, Delafield & Wood, specializing in structured finance, banking and corporate and municipal securities. Mr. Epes earned a J.D. from Fordham Law School and a B.A. from Brown University. He is a member of the New York State Bar.

David Sherr - CEO, CIO, Founder

David Sherr founded One William Street Capital Management in 2007, and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm's day-to-day activities. Mr. Sherr is also the head of the firm's Investment Steering Team and Management Steering Team and a member of the Risk Committee. Mr. Sherr has over 35 years of experience in the investing and origination businesses, fixed income markets, and managing global trading. Prior to founding One William Street Capital Management, Mr. Sherr was a Managing Director and Global Head of Securitized Products at Lehman Brothers. In that capacity, Mr. Sherr had senior management responsibilities in Fixed Income, Principal Investing and Lending and Investment Banking. He was also a member of Lehman's Global Risk and Fixed Income Operating Committees. Mr. Sherr graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Babson College.

Dr. Laurence Lee - Chief Risk Officer, Managing Director

Dr. Laurence Lee is responsible for the oversight of the firm's portfolio risk management, research and analytics infrastructure. He is also a member of the firm's Investment Steering Team, Risk Committee, and ESG Committee. Dr. Lee has over 25 years of experience in research, analytics, structuring and risk management. Most recently, he was a Managing Director and Global Head of Desk Quant at UBS Investment Bank. Prior to UBS, he was a Director with Deutsche Bank Securities where he headed the securitization structuring team. Dr. Lee graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and received both an S.M. and Ph.D. from MIT in Electrical Engineering.

Frank Prezioso

Frank Prezioso is a Senior Portfolio Manager of the firm. He is responsible for the firm's Private Market and Special Situation investment activity. Mr. Prezioso is a member of the firm's Investment Steering Team. Mr. Prezioso joined the firm from Lehman Brothers where he was Managing Director and Head of the U.S. Principal Finance Business and a member of Lehman Brothers' Global Structured Finance Commitments Committee. Earlier in his career, Mr. Prezioso was with a boutique investment banking firm focused on merchant banking opportunities in the specialty finance sector and began his career at Prudential Securities in its capital markets division. Mr. Prezioso received a B.A. from Yale University and holds an M.B.A from Columbia University.

J. Alan Slaminko - COO, Managing Director

J. Alan Slaminko manages the firm's operations team and is responsible for trade settlement, portfolio and cash reconciliation, cash and collateral management, and repo transactions. He is also a member of the firm's Risk and Valuation Committees. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Slaminko was with Old Hill Partners where he was a Partner and Operations Manager. In that capacity, he managed all the accounting and operations functions for a registered investment advisor and all of its investment funds. Prior to Old Hill, he was a manager of the asset-backed securities desk at Hilliard Farber & Co., a brokerage firm specializing in mortgage-backed securities. Mr. Slaminko graduated with a B.S. from the University of Delaware and received an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

J. Rebekka Bonner, is a Managing Director and advises the firm on a broad range of legal and compliance matters. Prior to joining OWS as CCO/Senior Counsel, Ms. Bonner served as General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy COO of a $27B alternative asset manager, where she assisted with the firm's overall management and was responsible for the legal and compliance functions. Ms. Bonner has also served as Partner and General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer of a quantitative multi-strategy hedge fund and global pension advisory business. Bonner's past experience includes several years as Assistant General Counsel at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Ms. Bonner began her legal career as an attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in the Investment Management and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups. Ms. Bonner holds a B.A. from Syracuse University, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a J.D. from Yale Law School. She is also a member of 100 Women in Finance.

Joshua Simons

Joshua Simons is responsible for expanding and managing the firm's institutional partnerships and communications of the firm's investment strategies. As an employee of the firm since inception, Mr. Simons has over 20 years of investment banking and hedge fund experience with credit and alternative investment products. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Simons worked in the Fixed Income division of Lehman Brothers, focusing on managing Structured Credit products and alternative investment strategies. Mr. Simons began his career at JPMorgan and was a Vice President in the JPMorgan Structured Credit Quantitative Advisory Group, educating global institutional investors and assisting in the implementation of proprietary valuation and portfolio risk management tools for investment in structured assets. He received a B.A. in Accounting from Muhlenberg College and holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Kurt Locher - Chief Compliance Officer, COO

Kurt Locher is responsible for the firm's non-investment business operations, including accounting, finance, tax, legal/compliance, and administration. He also serves as Chair of the firm's Risk and Valuation Committees and as a member of its Investment Steering Team, ESG Committee, and Cybersecurity Committee. With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Mr. Locher was most recently a Managing Director within the Investment Management Division (IMD) at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Locher began his career at Prudential Securities, modeling and structuring mortgage and asset-backed securities and, prior to that, he worked at Raytheon. Mr. Locher received both an S.M. and S.B. from MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Matthew Ziffer

Matthew Ziffer leads the firm's activity in consumer Specialty Finance. In addition, Mr. Ziffer is a member of the firm's Investment Steering Team and ESG Committee, and manages the firm's loan servicing relationships, due diligence on vendors as well as its loan-level surveillance efforts. In that capacity, he is responsible for the acquisition, management and disposition of distressed loans and securities. Prior to joining the firm, he was Head of the Residential Non-Performing and Scratch & Dent Mortgage Trading Desk at Lehman Brothers. Previously, Mr. Ziffer was an Assistant Vice President in the asset-backed securities group of Deutsche Bank, focusing on the financing of various assets including non-performing residential mortgage loans. He began his career in the capital markets group of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. Mr. Ziffer received a B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park and was awarded a J.D. magna cum laude, from New York Law School, where he was a Law Review Editor.

Stephanie Dolan - CFO, Managing Director

Stephanie Dolan is responsible for the oversight of financial affairs, reporting and banking activities of the firm and the fund's General Partner entities, and is also a member of the firm's Risk and Valuation Committees. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Dolan was a Managing Director with Lehman Brothers where she was Controller of the Investment Management Division. In this capacity, Ms. Dolan was responsible for budgeting, financial reporting and accounting and overall finance-related activities of the division, which included the private client, asset management, hedge fund and private equity businesses. Previously, Ms. Dolan held various finance management roles within the capital markets division, including oversight of fixed income and equities divisional reporting, product profitability and budgeting, and legal entity reporting. Prior to Lehman Brothers, Ms. Dolan worked as a manager in Arthur Andersen's audit practice working with banking, hedge fund and mutual fund clients. Ms. Dolan graduated with a B.A. from Siena College.
