Craft O'Neal - CEO, Chairman

Craft O'Neal, Chairman and CEO, and grandson of company founder Kirkman O'Neal, was born and raised in the metals business in Birmingham, Alabama. He earned a B.A. degree from Birmingham-Southern College where he majored in business and economics. In 1984, Craft began his career at O'Neal Steel as a member of the Birmingham District's Inside Sales Department. He held several sales and management positions in other locations throughout the company before returning to Birmingham to serve as District Manager. Over the next ten years, he continued to assume more responsibility including supply chain management. In December of 2004, Craft succeeded his father, Emmet O'Neal, as Chairman and CEO. In 2008, O'Neal Industries, (ONI) the parent company for O'Neal Steel, was formed and he became its Chairman and CEO. Craft, an active fundraiser for many civic organizations, also serves on the boards of the American Red Cross, the Birmingham Business Alliance, Children's of Alabama, O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB, UAB's Athletics Foundation, and Leadership Birmingham. He is a member of the Monday Morning Quarterback Club, the Rotary Club of Birmingham, and the United Way's U.S. Council on Tocqueville. He is a graduate of Leadership Alabama.

Ruffner Page - COO, President

Ruffner Page was born in New York City and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology with a minor in Economics. Upon graduation he worked at Bankers Trust Company in New York City and Atlanta. He is also a 1986 graduate of the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business in Charlottesville, Virginia. Ruffner has served on O'Neal Industries' (ONI)Board since 2016. He retired in January 2022 from McWane, Inc. a global manufacturing business where he had served as President since 1999. Similar to ONI in size, McWane is involved in the manufacture of pipes, valves, water fittings, fire extinguishers, and propane tanks and in various technology companies. He joined McWane in 1993 working in mergers and acquisitions. He also previously served as Executive Vice President of National Bank of Commerce, a subsidiary of Alabama National Bancorporation, from 1989 until 1994. Ruffner is very active in the Birmingham community and serves on several boards including as Vice Chairman of the Board for Southern Research, South State Bank and is a Trustee for the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business Foundation. He previously served for 12 years on the board of the Birmingham Airport Authority and as Chairman of the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham Board.

Stephen Armstrong - EVP

Stephen Armstrong was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a graduate of Auburn University and holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Stephen began his career at BellSouth where he spent ten years in various operations, finance, marketing, strategic pricing, and management roles. He joined O'Neal Steel in 2006 as Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. He was promoted to Manager of Sales & Marketing Analysis in 2008, which entailed heavy involvement in our pricing process. In 2010, he became Vice President of Administration that ultimately included responsibility for Accounting, Credit, Information Services, Human Resources, Analytics, and Strategic Planning. In 2012, he was named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and held that position until he was appointed President and CEO in 2014. Stephen was named Executive Vice President at O'Neal Industries in 2020. Stephen is a member of the UAB Collat School of Business Advisory Committee, Auburn Samuel Ginn College of Engineering Advisory Board, Smile-A-Mile Board of Directors, Leadership Birmingham, Monday Morning Quarterback Club, and the United Way of Central Alabama Board of Directors, along with other industry and philanthropic organizations.

Tom Kennard - EVP

Tom Kennard, Executive Vice President, is a native of Portsmouth, Ohio, and a graduate of Georgetown College in Kentucky, where he majored in Accounting and Finance. Tom began his career with General Electric Aircraft Engine before becoming a founding member of Aerospace International Materials (AIM), a global specialty materials distribution and manufacturing company geared to aerospace and power generation. Later he co-founded Supply Dynamics and T&B Manufacturing, each in the manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution arena. O'Neal Industries acquired both AIM and Supply Dynamics in 2006. Another ONI acquisition, Ferguson Metals, merged with AIM, and a new organization, United Performance Metals was formed in 2008. Tom served as its president until he was named Executive Vice President at O'Neal Industries in 2020. Tom is a board member of Midwest Sports and Norstar International in Cincinnati. He is a member of the Metals Service Center Institute.

Troy Lugo - CFO, SVP

Troy Lugo was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) and an MBA from Samford University in Birmingham before earning his CPA credentials. Before joining O'Neal Industries, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior manager on audit engagements for public, private, and family-owned companies. After public accounting, he worked in private industry as an executive overseeing finance, treasury, accounting, risk management, and information technology activities for several portfolio companies. He joined O'Neal Industries in 2017 as Vice President and Corporate Controller, responsible for the company's credit, treasury, accounting, and financial reporting activities. Troy was named Chief Financial Officer in 2022. Troy is actively involved in community and professional organizations including the Spina Bifida Association of Alabama, the United Way of Central Alabama, Children's Hospital Committee for the Future, and other non-profit organizations. He also serves on the boards of Samford University Brock School of Business and The Bell Center for Early Intervention Services.
