Alix has spent the past decade in the recruiting space with a primary focus on financial services.
Prior to joining Opus, she spent two and a half years at Visium Asset Management recruiting portfolio managers and analysts as well as front office professionals. Her primary focused included investment analysts at varying levels of seniority across different investment strategies and industry sectors. Before joining Visium, she worked for OneWire, an online recruiting platform focused on connecting financial professionals with opportunities. Over her 5 year tenure there, she managed many of the firm's marque clients and participated in developing strategic partnerships. OneWire originally evolved out of a boutique search firm making placements on Wall Street which is where Alix started her recruiting career. However, it is at OppenheimerFunds where she originally started working as a member of the online marketing group.
Alix graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in French and Communications
Claudia Cunningham joined Opus Advisors in 2013 to lead the Corporate Executive Search practice. She has over 20 years of recruiting experience placing C-level, board member and senior management positions cross-functionally. Recent completions include numerous CEO and CFO placements at client portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Opus Advisors, Claudia founded Executive Advancement, Inc., a retained executive search firm and The Vantage Group, a research company providing name generation and market research for other executive search firms and corporate HR Departments. Her early experience included nine years with Korn/Ferry International as a Principal in their Industrial Practice.
Claudia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business from Northeastern University. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and two daughters. She is an active member of Avon Junior Women's Group and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society
Holly launched her executive search career in 1997, with a boutique executive search firm. She rapidly became the #1 recruiter in the firm's then ten-year history. After four years of exceptional record-breaking production, she was asked to buy out the former partners and take over the firm. Subsequently, Holly was asked to join Korn/Ferry where she was once again a top requested recruiter, placing CEOs and CFOs in a number of Fortune 1000 companies.
In 2003, Holly decided to pursue her penchant for financial services and focus solely on investment banking, hedge fund, and private equity recruiting.
She founded Opus Advisors in July of 2006 in an effort to create a firm with an exceptional team culture, representing top-tier clients & candidate talent, with unparalleled ethics, sense of urgency, and care.
Holly has a BA from the University of Cincinnati and attended the John Marshall College of Law.
Shannon began her career on Wall Street in 1990 as an Analyst in the Media and Entertainment Group at Oppenheimer. During her tenure, She worked on 100+ capital raising and strategic advisory assignments and was hand-selected by senior management to work on the IPO of the firm's asset management business, Oppenheimer Capital.
When CIBC acquired Oppenheimer in 1996, Shannon moved into a new role reporting to the head of the US Region. She created and then managed the Analyst and Associate programs and her responsibilities included recruiting, training, staffing, promotions and professional development of the firm. She was responsible for significantly growing the firm and hired in excess of 400 professionals.
In 2004, Shannon moved over to executive search and has continued to focus on recruiting of financial services professionals for investment banking, asset management, investor relations/fundraising and corporate development.
Shannon graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Sue has been supporting the recruitment of financial professionals since she joined Opus in 2014. Prior to joining Opus, she spent several years working for Executive Advancement, a retained executive search firm specializing in C-level placements primarily in the industrial sector. She began her career in the commercial lines division of Traveler's Insurance Company working as a systems analyst. Sue graduated from St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH with a B.A. in Computer Science/Math
