We offer 4 different drive options for our systems, AC, DC, Engine Drive, and Hydraulic. We also offer an all manual control panel system that is suitable for installation in a service area, or a manual/electric control panel that is suitable for installation in the cabin. Open Ocean Watermakers has been manufacturing watermakers in the beautiful Bay of Islands of New Zealand since 2001... ​We have been building watermakers since 2001. Located in Opua, in the Bay of Islands, we combine quality components with a simple design. As cruising sailors, we know the value of having a system that you can count on. Our systems are largely made up of off-the-shelf components that are available almost anywhere in the world.
