David Cheriton is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and head of the Distributed Systems Group in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University. Cheriton co-founded Arista Networks, Inc., Kealia, Inc. (acquired by Sun Microsystems) and Granite Systems (acquired by Cisco), and was also an early investor in Google, Inc. He was presented with the SIGCOMM Lifetime Achievement award by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) "…for his contributions in data networking and systems, and for his keen talent for questioning the assumptions behind all our work." Professor Cheriton was listed on the Forbes Midas List, a roster of the best dealmakers in technology venture capital published yearly by Forbes Magazine.

Fusun Ertemalp brings many years of experience in defining, developing and delivering systems. Prior to joining OptumSoft, she was a Distinguished Engineer in Cisco Systems, working on enterprise campus architecture and strategy in switching, virtualization, security, mobility. After she joined Cisco as part of Granite Systems team, she was a key architect and lead, defining and delivering multiple generations of widely deployed modular Catalyst 4000/4500 family switches working with amazing teams.
