Dan became the principal and owner of Optimus Architecture in 2018 after twelve years with the firm. With his knowledge of healthcare environments, design concepts, and codes and regulations, he has earned the respect and confidence of clients, consultants, regulatory agencies, and contractors. Dan earned a Master of Architecture from the University of Buffalo and is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont.

Jason D. Terranova

  • Project Manager
Jason brings nearly three decades of experience to the management of client projects. His methodical approach to project management has contributed to his success in coordinating designers, engineers, owners, and contractors through project completion. With his extensive knowledge of healthcare and building codes, construction documentation, and construction phase services, Jason is an asset to our firm and our clients. He holds an associate and bachelor's degrees in architectural technology.

Kaitlynn M. Darvid

  • Senior Interior Designer
Kaitlynn's creative spirit brings a fresh approach to the overall design of an interior. She considers the appropriate use of materials and stays within a client's budget while enhancing the architectural elements of a project. Through meticulous renderings of interior specifications, she provides clients with comprehensive construction documents. Kaitlynn has extensive knowledge of space planning, merchandising, healthcare, corporate and residential design, and holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts in interior design.

Maureen A. Haege

  • Office Manager
With various administrative roles throughout her career, Maureen has a strong background and skill set to perform the duties of an office manager. For many years, she worked in a hospital facilities department, so she is keenly aware of the needs addressed by the architectural designs of our firm. Her attention to detail and process improvement keeps the office organized and operating smoothly.

Patrick T. Roberts

Job Titles:
  • Project Architect
An experienced architect when he joined Optimus Architecture, Patrick was responsible for planning the design of new and renovated facilities, LEED applications, construction documents, and project management. As a registered architect and formerly adjunct professor of architectural renderings, he possesses the skills and experience of an excellent leader and mentor. Patrick holds an associate degree in architectural technology.
