Odisha State Civil Supply Corporation Ltd., was established on 3rd September, 1980 as a fully owned State Government company under Companies Act, 1956. Initially it had an authorized share capital of Rs 5 Cr but currently it stands at Rs. 1000 Cr. With adaptation of Decentralised Procurement (DCP) Scheme since KMS 2003-04, the Corporation has been engaged in direct purchase of paddy from farmers and in KMS 2023-24 procurement has crossed 79.16 LMT which is the highest ever figure since inception for any KMS.
