Roger S. Moon

Roger S. Moon, M.D. is a board certified anesthesiologist, who specializes in interventional pain management. He graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his residency at Stony Brook University in New York in anesthesiology. He then completed his fellowship training in pain management at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Moon has a broad experience in the management of acute and chronic pain, including the treatment of many common pain syndromes in both pediatric and adult populations. He specializes in image guided techniques (ultrasound and fluoroscopy), including selective nerve root blocks, interlaminar epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, sympathetic nerve blocks, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, and arthroscopic injections of the hip, knee, elbow, sacroiliac, and shoulder joints. He also performs neuromodulation and intrathecal pump implants for post-laminectomy syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome, peripheral neuropathy, venous insufficiency, and phantom limb pain. Dr. Moon is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine as well as the Spine Interventional Society.

Stanley K. Chou

Stanley K. Chou, M.D. is a board certified anesthesiologist as well as a board certified pain management specialist. Dr. Chou graduated from Guangzhou Medical College in Guangzhou, China. He completed his residency in internal medicine and anesthesiology at Monmouth Medical Center, New Jersey. He received the Robert Dripps Memorial award as the outstanding Graduate in anesthesiology of 1993. He went on to complete a fellowship in pain management at Robert Wood Johnson University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. Since then, Dr. Chou has been practicing anesthesia and pain management for over 25 years. ​Dr. Chou has acquired significant experience and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide spectrum of acute and chronic pain conditions, including Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), postherpetic neuralgia, fibromyalgia, herniated disc disease, facet joint syndrome, sacro-iliac joint syndrome, post laminectomy pain syndrome, vertebral fracture pain, coccydynia, and cancer pain, along with many other pain syndromes. ​Dr. Chou specializes in interventional pain management techniques often performed under a C-arm x-ray. Continuous peripheral nerve blocks with an infusion pump, interlaminar epidural injections, transforaminal nerve root injections, intra-articular zygapophyseal (facet) joint injections, diagnostic medial branch blocks, neuro-ablations with radiofrequency, discographies, intra-articular sacro-iliac joint injections, sympathetic ganglion blocks, kyphoplasties and vertibroplasties, spinal morphine pump implants, and spinal cord stimulator implants are just some of the many procedures Dr. Chou has expertise in and regularly performs.​ ​Dr. Chou has a strong eastern and western medicine background. Additionally, he is certified in acupuncture. With a comprehensive knowledge in various pain-alleviation techniques, Dr. Chou is able to offer suitable treatments for many different types of complex pain syndromes. Dr. Chou's certifications include: Dr. Chou is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the American Society of Interventional Pain Management Physicians, and the Society for Pain Practice Management.
