Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company was established under Royal Decree No. 131/2020 of December 9, 2020 stated that Oman Wastewater Services Company SAOC shall undertake the activities of water and wastewater in all governorates of the Sultanate, with the exception of the Governorate of Dhofar. Pursuant to implementation of the transfer scheme which has been approved by OIA, the company took over the assets and liabilities as on 1 st June 2021 assigned to it from Public Authority of Water.
