JOE MASIUK

As a partner in the law firm of Flood & Masiuk, LLC, Joseph Masiuk is committed to, a practice which provides people of all ages and walks of life with thoughtful and comprehensive solutions in Estate Planning, which includes Elder Care, Medicaid and Special Needs Planning. Experience Today, Mr. Masiuk is a widely noted speaker, author and seminar leader on topics ranging from estate and Medicaid planning to asset protection for traditional and LGBTQ couples and families. Prior to joining his wife in private practice, Mr. Masiuk practiced law in the public sector as an Assistant Regional Attorney for the United States Department of Health, Education and Welfare. His practice at HEW involved Social Security as well as Medicare and Medicaid policy and litigation. From 1981 to 1985 he served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Department of Justice in Philadelphia, where his counsel to the Federal Bureau of Investigation was recognized in September, 1985 Mr. Masiuk is a Member of the Bars of the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Third and Fourth Circuits; and the United States District Courts for New Jersey and the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. He has been practicing law since 1976. While a member of the United States Department of Justice, he graduated from the Attorney Generals Advocacy Institute with a Certificate in Civil Trial Advocacy in 1982. Education Mr. Masiuk attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature. Next, he attended the University of Maryland School of Law, where he was awarded a Juris Doctor degree in 1976. Personal Masiuk's civic involvement has included membership in the Rotary Club of Feasterville, where he served as President in 1989-1990 and District Governors Representative in 1990-1991; and the Lower Southampton Township Fourth of July Parade Committee. For the past 18 years, he has been a guest lecturer of the Political Science department at Arcadia University.

MARIANNE FLOOD

As the founder and managing partner of the Southampton, Pennsylvania law firm of Flood & Masiuk, LLC, Marianne Flood oversees a practice devoted to providing clients with personalized service and counsel in all aspects of estate planning. Because of Ms. Floods deep commitment to the specialty of estate planning, she became a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys in April, 2000. Her entire private practice has been devoted to helping families of all ages and backgrounds. Experience Prior to founding her own law firm, Ms. Flood practiced law in the public sector as an Assistant Regional Attorney for the United States Department of Health, Education and Welfare, and the United States Department of Education. She is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association, where she has served as both an Officer and as a Director. Ms. Floods professional contributions have earned her recognition by the Bucks County Bar Association through the award of a Certificate of Recognition in 1988 and the Presidents Award in 1989. Ms. Flood is a Member of the Bars of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Third and Fourth Circuits; and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. She has been practicing law since 1976. Education Ms. Flood attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. Next, she attended the University of Maryland School of Law, where she was awarded a Juris Doctor degree With Honor. She was an Editor of the Maryland Law Review and was awarded the prestigious American Jurisprudence Awards for excellence in both Conflict of Laws and Future Interests.
