The partnership also enables NYSID the opportunity to provide surface coatings as Preferred Source Commodities to its customers, including state and local government, PBCs, school and fire districts, SUNY, CUNY, and community colleges. NYSID customers benefit from purchasing Preferred Source Commodities because they are exempt from the statutory competitive bidding requirements of New York State...
