Alyssa Drowne

Alyssa Drowne joined the Palisades Hudson staff in 2021 as an administrative associate based in our Stamford, Connecticut office. She assists staff across all of Palisades Hudson's offices, including providing phone support, handling incoming and outgoing mail, arranging staff travel, supporting various marketing projects and performing general administrative duties. A graduate of Sacred Heart University, Alyssa earned a Bachelor of Science with a double major in sports management and marketing. She was awarded the university's Gold Medal of Excellence in Marketing upon graduation. Alyssa went on to complete a Graduate Certificate in Marketing, followed by a Master of Business Administration, also at Sacred Heart. Prior to Palisades Hudson, her professional experience included event planning in the hospitality industry, as well as general management and marketing in the fitness industry. Alyssa currently resides in her hometown of Stamford, Connecticut.

Amy Laburda

Amy Laburda joined Palisades Hudson's staff in 2010 as an administrative associate in our Northeast office and became an administrative manager in 2015. As our editorial manager, Amy coordinates and supports Palisades Hudson's communications and publications. She is the editor of Looking Ahead: Life, Family, Wealth and Business After 55 and The High Achiever's Guide to Wealth, as well as the co-author of two of the latter book's chapters. Amy also oversees (and occasionally contributes to) our Sentinel newsletter and the firm's social media presence, and previously oversaw the "Current Commentary" blog. Since 2023, she has served as the host of the firm's podcast, "Something Personal." Amy's other administrative experience includes marketing, event planning and travel coordination. Amy earned a B.A. in liberal arts from Sarah Lawrence College, with a focus in theatrical literature. While earning her undergraduate degree, she also spent a year abroad studying at Wadham College, Oxford. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Amy currently resides in New York City.

Anthony D. Criscuolo

Anthony D. Criscuolo, CFP®, EA, has extensive experience in our firm's investment, tax, estate planning and accounting practices. As chief investment officer and chairman of the firm's investment committee, Anthony leads a team of portfolio managers and associates focused on finding the most efficient and cost-effective ways to implement client portfolio strategies. He oversees more than $1.5 billion in client assets, including all aspects of investment strategy, portfolio management, due diligence and manager selection. Anthony also provides a wide range of services to our clients, including asset allocation and investment analyses, cash flow projections, retirement plans, tax planning and preparation, and estate planning and administration. Anthony began his career in the firm's Fort Lauderdale, Florida office in January 2008, and has been a client service manager since 2011. In 2018 Anthony relocated to the firm's Atlanta office, where he serves clients around the country. Anthony is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and an IRS Enrolled Agent, and has been quoted as a financial expert by many leading publications, including Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch, Reuters and U.S. News & World Report. He has also appeared as a guest on the firm's own podcast, "Something Personal." Anthony is a frequent contributor to the firm's Sentinel newsletter. A native Floridian, Anthony graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a degree in finance and minors in leadership and entrepreneurship. During his time in Palisades Hudson's Florida office, Anthony also completed the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Leadership Fort Lauderdale program, Class XXII. Anthony is now active in the metro Atlanta community, including East Cobb, where he currently resides with his wife and three children.

Ashley Luhmann

Ashley Luhmann joined the Palisades Hudson staff in 2017 as an administrative associate and became a financial planning manager in 2021. While she provides a variety of administrative support across the firm, Ashley's main focus is Palisades Hudson's Entertainment and Sports practice. She also oversees staff travel and event planning. In her former role, Ashley was the primary point of contact for our nationwide phone system and provided general administrative support across our offices. Ashley's professional experience prior to Palisades Hudson included retail and restaurant management, as well as music education. A 2010 graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Ashley was the recipient of multiple scholarships and grants and was named the School of Music's outstanding member of the year in 2008 and 2009. She has since furthered her music business education at the Berklee School of Music Online, with courses in concert touring, artist management and music publishing. A performer herself, Ashley spent a decade touring in the summers with a world-class drum and bugle corps as a musician, conductor and educator. Her performance history includes jazz, orchestra and musical theater, and she is a long-standing member of the Denver Broncos Stampede. Ashley is also a two-time Ironman finisher (she wrote about her first race for the company blog in 2019) and has completed numerous other races across the country. Ashley is a native of Loveland, Colorado, and currently resides in the greater Denver area with her husband and their two children.

Benjamin C. Sullivan

As a senior client service manager, Benjamin C. Sullivan, CFP®, CVA, EA, is extensively involved throughout the firm's asset management, personal financial planning, tax and valuation practices. He is also a member of Palisades Hudson's investment committee. Ben joined the Palisades Hudson staff in early 2007 and became a manager in 2010. In 2016, he established the firm's branch office in Austin, Texas, where he currently resides. Ben is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant. As an Enrolled Agent eligible to practice before the Internal Revenue Service, Ben is also authorized to represent his clients in tax disputes at all administrative levels. He holds the Certified Valuation Analyst designation from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. Ben has been widely quoted in print, as well as interviewed in video and audio appearances, on personal financial planning and related topics in national media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Money Magazine, Kiplinger's Retirement Report, CNN Money and USA Today. Brianna Aviles

Brianna Aviles became part of the Palisades Hudson staff in 2022, joining the firm's Fort Lauderdale, Florida headquarters as a client service associate. She works on projects for clients across the company's practice areas, including investment, bookkeeping and tax projects. Brianna also provides support to the firm's Entertainment and Sports practice. She is the co-author of "Education Savings 101: The 529 Plan" and "When To Use An Adjustable-Rate Mortgage," both of which appeared in the firm's Sentinel newsletter. A magna cum laude graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Brianna earned a bachelor's degree in finance, and appeared on the president's list and the dean's list on multiple occasions. Her experience prior to joining Palisades Hudson included an internship at a financial services firm, where she served as an operational specialist. Brianna currently resides in her hometown of Boca Raton, Florida. In her free time, she enjoys exploring South Florida's restaurant scene and visiting the dog park with her French bulldog.

Cristina Galante

Cristina Galante is the administrative manager responsible for Palisades Hudson's bookkeeping, as well as overseeing the firm's office assistants. She also provides technical support to the Stamford office, where she is based, and assists with technology and infrastructure projects across all offices. Cristina has been with Palisades Hudson since 2008, when she began work as a part-time office assistant. She joined the staff as a full-time administrative associate in the summer of 2010, and became a manager in 2016. A graduate of Manhattan College, Cristina holds a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration with a major in accounting. While earning her degree, Cristina also participated in the college's Accounting Society. Cristina is a Bronx native, and currently resides in Eastchester, New York.

David Walters

David Walters, CPA, CFP®, has extensive experience in the firm's tax, investment planning, estate planning and accounting practices. He also serves as a member of the firm's investment committee and its Entertainment and Sports Team. David joined Palisades Hudson as an associate in the Scarsdale, New York office in 2002. He became a client service manager in 2006 and joined the executive team as a vice president in 2021. He transferred to Fort Lauderdale in 2007, before establishing the firm's West Coast presence in 2012. David practices in Hillsboro, Oregon, as well as serving nearby communities including Beaverton and the Portland metro area. David holds the Certified Public Accountant and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ credentials, both of which he obtained during his time with the firm. He has been quoted as an expert on financial topics by a variety of leading publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Money Magazine, Forbes, The Portland Business Journal and Consumer Reports. Eric Meermann, CFP®, CVA, EA, is the senior client service executive in our Stamford, Connecticut office, where he supervises the staff of client service professionals. As a vice president, he is also responsible for firmwide professional staff development, as well as serving clients in the Northeast and across the country. While he joined the executive team in 2017, Eric has long brought his extensive experience to our firm's investment management, retirement planning, estate planning and tax compliance practices. He is the lead executive for our firm's business valuation practice and, along with Shomari Hearn, heads the Entertainment and Sports Team. He was a longstanding member of Palisades Hudson's investment committee. Eric holds the Certified Valuation Analyst designation from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, of which he is a member. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and an IRS Enrolled Agent. Eric graduated from New York University's Stern School of Business with a degree in finance and international business. Jake Luhmann

Jake Luhmann joined the Palisades Hudson team in February 2022 as an administrative associate. In addition to assisting staff across our firm's nationwide offices, Jake directly supports the firm's Entertainment and Sports practice. He is also involved in the company's event planning and travel organization. Prior to accepting a position at Palisades Hudson, Jake spent more than a decade in the retail, hospitality and events industries, where he gained experience in leadership, event coordination and customer service. After an educational background focused on sport management, exercise science and kinesiology, Jake worked as a personal trainer and as a strength and conditioning coach assistant. He also interned as a sports medicine assistant. As part of these experiences, he had the opportunity to work with Olympic-level athletes in speedskating and ice hockey. A native of Fairmont, Minnesota, Jake currently resides in the greater Denver area. Outside of work, he serves as an event coordinator for B Strong Ride, a Boulder, Colorado bicycle event that raises funds for a nonprofit cancer care organization.

Jeffrey J. Howard

Jeffrey Howard served as the firm's administrative manager for infrastructure and technology starting in 2012 and joined the executive team as the firm's first director of technology in 2023. In his time with Palisades Hudson, Jeffrey has been deeply involved with a variety of major information technology projects. While the firm's main computing center was based in the Northeast office, Jeffrey assembled a full-scale backup server complex in Georgia; he later oversaw the transition as the Atlanta office became the firm's computing hub. He has supervised two full redesigns of the firm's website, as well as the transition to an internet-based telephone system that unifies all the firm's offices on a single set of virtual extensions that can be answered from any location. Currently based in the firm's Fort Lauderdale, Florida, headquarters, Jeffrey first joined the Palisades Hudson staff in Scarsdale, New York in 2004 as a part-time office assistant. He became a full-time administrative associate in 2007. From 2011 to 2013, Jeffrey was based in the firm's office in Atlanta. A Bronx native, Jeffrey holds a degree from Mercy College in business administration, with a focus in marketing.

Kasey Radney

Kasey Radney joined our team in 2021 as a financial planning assistant. He became a client service associate in 2022 and a senior client service associate in 2023. He is based in the firm's Atlanta office but contributes to projects for clients nationwide across the firm's practice areas, including bookkeeping, investment management and tax preparation. He is the co-author of "A Closer Look At Capital Gains" Part I and Part II, which ran in Palisades Hudson's Sentinel newsletter in August and September 2022, respectively. He is also among the authors of the firm's book Looking Ahead: Life, Family, Wealth and Business After 55. A University of Georgia graduate, Kasey holds a bachelor's degree in consumer economics. Before joining the Palisades Hudson staff, Kasey's professional experience included positions at a financial consulting firm in Athens, Georgia and at the Athens YMCA, as the assistant director of operations. In addition to his work there, Kasey was heavily involved as a volunteer and supporter of the Athens YMCA, including work in after-school programs and summer camp. A native of Dublin, Georgia, Kasey currently resides in Atlanta. In his free time, Kasey plays in local soccer leagues and hopes to get involved at his new local YMCA.

Kirstie Ward

Kirstie Ward has been part of the Palisades Hudson team since April 2014, when she joined the Fort Lauderdale office staff as a financial planning assistant. She became a manager in 2019 and is involved throughout the client service practice, including investment, tax and financial planning projects. Kirstie also serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for the firm's investment advisor affiliate, Palisades Hudson Asset Management, L.P. A Florida native, Kirstie earned her Bachelor of Science in finance and real estate from Florida State University. Prior to joining the staff of Palisades Hudson, Kirstie worked as a leasing associate with a commercial real estate firm; she is a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate, and served as an officer in the FSU Real Estate Society while earning her degree. In addition, her professional background includes marketing and administrative support. At Florida State, Kirstie was also the recipient of several academic scholarships and made the dean's list on multiple occasions. She participated in Habitat for Humanity and was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.

Larry M. Elkin - President

Larry M. Elkin, CPA, CFP®, has provided personal financial and tax counseling to a sophisticated client base since 1986. After six years with Arthur Andersen, where he was a senior manager for personal financial planning and family wealth planning, he founded his own firm in Hastings on Hudson, New York, in 1992. That firm grew steadily and became the Palisades Hudson organization, which moved to Scarsdale, New York in 2002 and to Stamford, Connecticut 15 years later. In 2005 the firm expanded to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a branch office that became the firm's official headquarters in 2017. The firm also added offices in Georgia in 2008, Oregon in 2012, and Texas in 2016. Larry is now based in Fort Lauderdale. As president of Palisades Hudson, Larry maintains individual professional relationships with many of the firm's clients, who reside in more than 30 states, from Maine to California, as well as in several foreign countries. In addition, he works closely with the firm's Entertainment and Sports Team and is a producer member of Film Florida. In 1997 Larry established the organization's investment advisory business, which currently manages more than $1.5 billion. Larry wrote several of the chapters in both of the firm's books. For The High Achiever's Guide to Wealth, he authored Chapter 1, "Anyone Can Achieve Wealth," and Chapter 19, "Assisting Aging Parents." His contributions to Looking Ahead: Life, Family, Wealth and Business After 55 included Chapter 1, "Looking Ahead When Youth Is Behind Us" and Chapter 4, "The Family Business." Larry is also the author of Financial Self-Defense for Unmarried Couples (Currency Doubleday, 1995), which was the first comprehensive financial planning guide for unmarried couples. He serves as the editor and publisher of Sentinel, the firm's newsletter, and was the lead author of the firm's blog, "Current Commentary," during its run from 2009 to 2021. Larry has been regularly interviewed by national and regional publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes, Bloomberg and the Los Angeles Times, and he has made nearly 100 radio and television appearances. Larry has also been the subject of professional profiles by print and online publications including Westchester magazine, VoyageMIA, Financial Planning and Mann on the Street. He served as president of the Estate Planning Council of New York City, Inc. in 2005-06. In 2009 the Council presented Larry with its first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award, praising his service to the organization and "his tireless efforts in promoting our industry by word and by personal example as a consummate estate planning professional." Larry received his B.A. in journalism from the University of Montana, and his MBA in accounting from New York University. Larry was a reporter and editor for The Associated Press from 1978 to 1986. He covered government, business and legal affairs for the wire service, with assignments in Helena, Montana; Albany, New York.; Washington, D.C.; and in New York City's federal courts in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Lesley Oberstadt

Lesley Oberstadt, financial planning assistant, has been part of the Palisades Hudson team since July 2018. She works across the firm's practice areas, assisting with projects such as bookkeeping, investment management and tax preparation. In her previous position as an administrative associate, Lesley provided support to our staff across the country, including coordinating travel companywide. She is based in the firm's Stamford, Connecticut office. Lesley earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Connecticut State University, where she majored in financial accounting. While at school, she participated in the university's dance team and came to Palisades Hudson with a deep customer service background, which includes the skill of professionally fitting pointe shoes.

Linda Field Elkin

Linda Field Elkin brings over 20 years of experience to her position as Palisades Hudson's director of marketing and human resources. Since she took on the position in 1995, the firm's staff has grown from two employees to more than 20; revenues have increased twentyfold; and Palisades Hudson opened offices in Florida, Georgia, Oregon and Texas. In addition, during her tenure, the firm launched a registered investment advisor affiliate that currently manages more than $1.5 billion in assets. In 2010-11, Linda co-developed an advanced business management training program for Palisades Hudson executive officers and managers, and served as lead instructor for a unit on behavioral psychology. She oversees staff recruitment efforts at approximately 100 top colleges and universities from coast to coast. Linda contributed to the company blog, "Current Commentary," on marketing and human resources subjects, and also co-developed and co-wrote the former Sentinel newsletter feature "Charitably Speaking," in which she covered topics including the Center for Victims of Torture and the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. Linda holds a B.A. in psychology from Brandeis University and an M.B.A. in marketing from the University of Michigan. Prior to her work at Palisades Hudson, she held positions at Prentice-Hall and at the Reader's Digest Association, where she was a product manager in the books division. In 2014, she published her first book for preteens, "Gaby and The Best Middle School Self-Defense Book Ever."

Mamie Odom

Mamie Odom joined Palisades Hudson's staff as a client service associate in 2023, after having completed an internship with the firm in the summer of 2022. While she is based in the firm's Atlanta office, Mamie works on projects for our clients across the country, including investment management, bookkeeping and tax preparation. Mamie has co-authored two articles with senior client service manager Anthony Criscuolo: "Don't Get Lost When Claiming EV Credits" (December 2023) and "An ESG Investing Hazard For Fiduciaries" (July 2022). A Tallahassee, Florida native, Mamie attended the University of Florida. She graduated cum laude with dual bachelor's and master's degrees in economics, along with a minor in family, youth and community sciences. While at UF, Mamie worked on campus tutoring student athletes and serving as a grader for economics courses. Mamie currently resides in the greater Atlanta area. In her free time, she enjoys powerlifting, and she competed in the USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals in the spring of 2023.

Melissa DiNapoli

Melissa DiNapoli oversees the firm's human resource and business development functions as an administrative manager, a position she has held since 2013. She is based in the firm's Stamford, Connecticut office, and has been deeply involved in both recruiting and marketing since she joined the firm in 2004. Prior to becoming a manager, Melissa also served as executive assistant to various members of the firm's executive staff, and participated in real estate leasing and acquisition projects in Florida, Georgia and Nova Scotia. A New York native, Melissa holds a degree in psychology from Mercy College. Outside her work at Palisades Hudson, she serves as an active PTA member and the co-chair of her older daughter's fifth grade committee.

Pascale Leon-Bocchino

Pascale Leon-Bocchino supervises the administrative staff and handles bookkeeping and bill payment for Palisades Hudson Financial Group LLC and its investment advisor affiliate, Palisades Hudson Asset Management, L.P. She is also responsible for overseeing all five offices' payroll and office management functions. Based in the firm's Stamford, Connecticut office, Pascale is the firm's most senior administrative manager, the first to hold that title at Palisades Hudson. She has also served as assistant to the company president, Larry Elkin, since 2007. Pascale first joined the firm as an office assistant in 1996 and became a full-time administrative associate in 2003. Pascale studied elementary education at Manhattan College and Mercy College. She is a native of Yonkers, New York.

Paul Jacobs

Paul Jacobs, CFP®, EA, assumed the role of managing vice president in 2023 after joining our executive team as a vice president in 2017. As managing vice president, Paul oversees the entirety of the firm's client service operations. He also continues to work with clients across the country to develop comprehensive personal financial plans, and he brings his significant experience to projects including charitable planning, dealing with concentrated stock positions, small business and family business planning, creating cash flow projections and retirement plans, and estate planning and administration. Paul began his career at Palisades Hudson as an associate in the Northeast in 2002; he became a client service manager in 2006. In 2008, he moved to Atlanta to establish the firm's office there. From 2012 to 2022, he served as the firm's chief investment officer, overseeing more than $1.5 billion in client assets, including all aspects of investment strategy, portfolio management, due diligence and manager selection. Paul is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and an IRS Enrolled Agent. He serves as a board member and Vice President of Education at Temple Sinai, and is also a member of the Finance Committee of Atlanta Jewish Family and Career Services. Paul was a frequent contributor to the firm's daily blog, "Current Commentary," during its run from 2009 to 2021. He is the author or co-author of many articles for the firm's Sentinel newsletter, including: "Gift-Giving Makes Good Tax Sense, Except When It Doesn't" (August 2023), "Tax Planning Amid A Window Of Stability" (December 2022), "Greener Prospects For ESG Investing" (April 2022), "Another Spin On The Debt Ceiling Carousel" (November 2021) and "Should You Worry About Inflation?" (October 2021). Paul's writing also appears in both of our firm's books. He contributed Chapter 20, "Giving Back," to The High Achiever's Guide to Wealth. His chapters for Looking Ahead: Life, Family, Wealth and Business After 55 cover topics including retirement plans, investment philosophy, and starting a "second act" business. A graduate of New York University's Stern School of Business, Paul holds degrees in finance and accounting.

Rebecca Pavese, CPA, has worked extensively in our tax, financial accounting and estate planning and administration practices, and is a member of the firm's investment committee. Rebecca also supervises Palisades Hudson's accounting and administration services for estates and trusts. She has served as the principal supervisor of our income tax planning and return preparation services and has overseen accounting services for a complex oil and gas investment partnership. A client service manager since 2005, Rebecca first joined Palisades Hudson in 2000 as an associate in our tax and financial planning practice in the Northeast. Since 2008, she has been based in the firm's Atlanta office. A recognized expert on tax and other financial topics, she has been quoted by leading publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CBS MoneyWatch, Kiplinger's Retirement Report and The Fiscal Times, among others. She has also appeared on Palisades Hudson's in-house podcast, "Something Personal." Rebecca has written many articles for Sentinel, the firm's newsletter. Some of her recent topics include: "Is My Bentley Deductible?" (March 2024) "When To Use An Adjustable-Rate Mortgage" (December 2022) "Securing Your IRA Goals After The SECURE Act" (June 2022) "Insuring Your Own Earning Power" (February 2020) and "When Spouses Live In Different States" (September 2018). Rebecca is among the authors of our firm's book The High Achiever's Guide to Wealth.
