Since I was a young boy I have loved the smell of fresh sawdust and working with wood, drafting, and design, so it was no surprise after graduation to find myself enthusiastically enrolling at SAIT to study Architectural Technology. I was encouraged to take my carpentry apprenticeship certificate and qualified as a journeyman carpenter in 1976, also gaining my Inter-Provincial certificate... For the past 45 years I have worked with wood and have developed a successful business producing high-end custom cabinetry for discerning homeowners. I specialize in providing quality hand-crafted cabinetry, and other works in wood, using the finest materials (I do not use MDF or particle board)... Paul Brodie Woodworking and Workshops offers custom build cabinets and furniture to Red Deer, Calgary, Edmonton and the central Alberta region. Based in Bowden, Alberta Paul Brodie also offers beginner through to expert level woodworking courses.
