Project Independence, a community-based, non-profit organization, was founded in 1982 by a group of individuals concerned with the health and wellbeing of the elderly and disabled who needed assistance and support in order to remain independent and live at home... We are Medicaid certified and funded by other health insurances, handicap accessible and licensed to accommodate 80 participants daily... Day health allows your loved one a cost-effective means to remain in familiar surroundings while benefiting from the social and medical care they need.
