Brad is a Director of Peddlethorp, with over 20 years of experience in New Zealand and the UK. His expertise is extensive, having worked on diverse projects including multi-unit housing, corrections, masterplanning, education and commercial. He has led multi-disciplinary teams on some of our largest developments, including Seascape Auckland, set to be New Zealand's tallest residential tower. Brad's pragmatic approach integrates analytical and technical insight with an emphasis on clarity in resolving complex design issues. He also oversees the development of our renowned documentation and quality assurance systems. This is allied to his deep knowledge of materials and construction systems, and a broader commercial understanding of design, construction and regulatory controls involved with the successful assembly of buildings. Brad regularly provides expert evidence and advice for MBIE and the NZIA and is actively involved in teaching at tertiary institutions and architectural graduate programmes. Outside work, Brad is likely to be found mountain biking in a forest somewhere with his young family

A born and bred son of Tamaki Makaurau, Cameron has spent much of his professional career consumed by (and engaged in ) the renewal and growth of urban Auckland. He is passionate about the city and its built environment, and being part of its change enlivens him. Cameron is an experienced senior architectural technician with a background in Architectural Technology - but he describes himself as a ‘documentation artist'. He trained at Unitec when drawing boards were still a thing; now Cameron uses his creative talent and a digital pencil to bring designs and concepts to life for us and our clients.

Josh Grant

Josh is a Senior Designer and Associate Director at Peddlethorp. He has had an integral role in some of our most challenging and complex projects. Josh brings a particular understanding of the delivery process for large scale schemes - from preliminary concept drawing, through to architectural detailing, and the transitional reality of drawing to construction. He is an extremely effective communicator, experienced in coordinating large consultant teams in collaborative environments, and expert at navigating consent strategies and processes. Josh has recently been involved in the design development of the (187 metre) Seascape Auckland residential tower, and is currently Peddlethorp's Design Team Lead for the Sylvia Park commercial projects.

Pierre believes communication is fundamental to the design process. He enjoys bringing together diverse stakeholders and their different viewpoints, using this as a catalyst for creativity as he explores how to make it all work harmoniously. His commitment to excellence, client-centred follow-through and proven ability to anticipate design issues enable him to deliver projects that are durable, robust, and true to their design intent.

Richard is a director of Peddlethorp, one of our most experienced leaders, and the principal architect of our unique research-based design approach. He has worked on projects across Auckland and throughout New Zealand, ranging from city-scale master planning and large buildings, through to bespoke housing and retail - many of them award-winners. Alongside his architectural work, Richard has developed a practice-wide research-based design discipline which unearths the unique opportunities of each site and brief, and aligns these with masterful architectural craft to deliver carefully scaled, authentic, enduring buildings. Richard has tutored to Masters level at University of Auckland, undertaken governance roles with NZIA and Property Council of NZ, chaired the recent NZCIC Guidelines review and contributed to several major industry initiatives. He has seawater in his blood.

Tessa is Peddlethorp's Interior Design Lead, specialising in the creation of exceptional workplace, residential and hospitality spaces. Tessa's design experience and empathetic approach ensure each project is thoughtfully considered, entirely individual and curated specifically to the client's needs. She is skilled at workshopping with stakeholders and turning this into a brief, then translating these requirements spatially into beautiful designs that deliver and exceed expectations. All while carefully working within the specific constraints of the projects. Tessa is responsible for designing and delivering our own Britomart Studio which has won multiple awards. She is currently immersed in the design of premium retirement living developments including The Foundation Parnell and Pacific Lakes Village Pavilion projects.
