It is one of 25 local boards in the Province of Ontario, funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD)... Peel Halton Workforce Development Group is respected as a non-partisan organization working collaboratively with a cross section of partners in the Peel and Halton communities on projects that positively affect labour market issues... The Peel Halton Workforce Development Group consists of a volunteer Board of Directors representing business, labour, women, visible racial minorities, educators/trainers and other equity groups.
