PETER NARAMORE

Born and raised near Rochester, New York, Peter Naramore started carpentry at age 15, refined his traditional techniques in Sweden and while roaming the United States in his homemade camper with an advertisement lettered on the back, "Traveling Carpenter, Enquire Within." In 1976 he moved to Maui and established his handcrafted furniture business... Naramore custom furniture is characterized by classic lines and sound construction based on traditional joinery, hand carved details, turnings and inlays... Master craftsman Peter Naramore visualizes the desires of his clients and turns them into fine handcrafted furniture. Naramore custom furniture is marked by rich and rare Hawaiian koa wood, traditional joinery, hand carved details and inlays; all in the context of sound construction and beautiful lines.
