Paul Snyder began his career in insurance at the age of 20 and was active in the business well into his 80's. He retired as a regional manager for Metropolitan Life and founded the Snyder Insurance Agency in 1963. The new venture was started with one policy, his own, and a simple philosophy: "Business goes where it is invited and stays where it is well cared for". In 1985 - the same year the Enos Agency was acquired - Paul's grandsons, Steve and Tom Pendery, became owners of the combined operation. Today, even though the name of the agency was changed to Pendery Insurance and Risk Management Group, Paul's philosophy continues and the focus of the business remains the same.
