Alisa Cruger joined Peters & Associates, CPAs, P. C. on December 1st, 2017 as a staff accountant. Alisa's education consists of an Associates in Applied Science Degree in Accounting from MVCC, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Accounting from University of Phoenix. Alisa was the program coordinator for a local Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program before coming on board at Peters & Associates, CPAs, P. C.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends, photography, yoga, camping, hiking, and the outdoors.

Brandon graduated from East Syracuse-Minoa High School in 2009, earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Onondaga Community College in 2014, and graduated in December 2017 from Lemoyne College with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Information Systems. While at Onondaga Community College, Brandon became interested in pursuing a career in accounting and enrolled at Le Moyne College in a 150 credit-hour accounting program. While at Le Moyne College, Brandon participated in a volunteer income tax assistance program and also worked as a tax preparer for Liberty Tax Service before becoming an accounting intern at Peters & Associates, CPAs, P. C. in the summer of 2016. He joined Peters & Associates full-time January 1, 2018, as a tax accountant. He plans to sit for the CPA exam.
Brandon resides in his hometown of East Syracuse. He enjoys spending time outdoors, skateboarding, hiking, camping and going to drag races at ESTA Safety Park Dragstrip.
Christy Mayer has recently been promoted to the office manager at Peters & Associates, CPAs, P.C. She handles the day to day support of the accounting staff along with various other office management duties.
Donna Dodge has been a tax manager at Peters & Associates, CPAs, P. C. since 1998. She believes in the value of relationships and views every client relationship as a partnership. She truly believes that the success of Peters & Associates, CPAs, P. C. is a result of its clients' successes.
Jim Hoyer has 32 years of experience in public accounting with over 15 of those years as a partner at Moore & Hart CPAs, prior to their merger with Peters & Associates, CPAs, P.C. He specializes in small business and personal tax services. He has built lifelong relationships with his clients, many of which span over two decades. Kathy recently joined Peters & Associates after the merger with Moore & Hart. She has worked for Moore & Hart since 2000 handling the daily contact with clients based in the Old Forge office. Kathy prepares individual tax returns, sets up new clients on the tax accounting system and assists the senior accountants with accounting and input issues.
When Kathy is not at work, she is extremely active with the Old Forge Volunteer Fire Department, where she has been a member since 1999 and presently holds the position of Vice President. In 1999, Kathy became an active Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the Old Forge Volunteer Ambulance Corp., currently holding the position of Vice President for that corporation as well.
When not working or volunteering, she and her husband, who live in Old Forge, love to camp, kayak and enjoy the great outdoors!
Lisa Luciano recently joined Peters & Associates after the merger with Moore & Hart. She has worked for Moore & Hart since 2008. Lisa prepares individual tax returns, sets up new clients on the tax and accounting system, and assists the senior accountants with accounting and input issues. In addition, she is responsible for tax return input, printing accounting reports and handling all electronic filing functions.
Che joined Peters and Associates in October 2017 as an intern during the Fall semester. Che earned her Associates Degree in accounting at Jefferson Community College and Che transferred to Le Moyne College where she is continuing her accounting major. Read More
Lori Kovac is a staff accountant who joined Peters & Associates, CPAs, P. C. in 1992. She graduated college with a concentration in business. Her prior work experiences include processing tax returns at Dannible & McKee, CPAs, and performing bookkeeping and accounting tasks at Glider Oil Company and Logical Systems Corp.
Mark C. Peters is the senior partner at Peters & Associates, CPAs, P.C. since September of 1985. He is a dedicated accountant who focuses his practice on a personal connection to clients and his strong desire to help small and medium-sized businesses succeed and prosper.
Matthew Hill is an experienced accountant who likes to approach accounting with the goal of making life easier for clients. His philosophy is founded in the belief that the small business owners are very good at the businesses they run. Michael Young joined Peters & Associates, CPAs, P.C. on November 1, 2021, as a staff accountant. Michael has over five years of tax preparation and small business bookkeeping experience. Michael's education consists of an Associates in Applied Science Degree in Accounting from MVCC, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Accounting from SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
Michael enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities and helping the local community.
Nancy is a tax accountant who joined Peters & Associates in 2012. Nancy's education consists of a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from LeMoyne College. She also has an Associates of Science degree from Onondaga Community College.
Renee Perry joined Peters & Associates, CPAs, P. C. in January 2009. Her position is to offer administrative support to the accounting staff and bookkeeping. In addition, Renee provides QuickBooks support to various clients.
Tracy L. Gossiaux, CPA recently joined Peters & Associates, CPAs, P.C. Tracy started her public accounting career at Firley, Moran, Freer & Eassa, CPAs, P.C. in 2005 where she performed audits, reviews, and compilations, as well as preparing income tax returns.
