Eric K. Peterson

Eric is an independent financial advisor serving Southwest Missouri since 1985. He has specialized in comprehensive financial planning and wealth management by working with individuals to design personalized retirement planning, tax-efficient investment strategies, estate planning, and insurance planning. In his commitment to assisting people in their transition from corporate life to "re-wirement," Eric has also worked with many local companies and institutions helping them evaluate their retirement options. Eric obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, in 1992 and received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Augustana College in 1983. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1974. As a registered representative and investment adviser representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, member FINRA/SIPC (named Broker/Dealer of the Year an unprecedented 10 times by Investment Advisor magazine*), Eric is able to help his clients work toward their financial solutions/goals. Away from the office, Eric has formally been committed to his volunteer work as a former member of the board with the Springfield Workshop, Inc.; Springfield Workshop Foundation, Inc.; and the SB40 Board for the Developmentally Disabled in Christian County. He is currently a member of the Public Building Corporation for Christian County and the Springfield and Ozark Area Chambers of Commerce. Eric is active in his church, and on occasion, you can find him sailing on Lake Stockton. Marissa graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2013 with a BS in business and marketing. Since then, she has spent the past 10 years pursuing her passion for customer service as well as building and developing teams in multiple industries. Springfield has been Marissa's home for the past seven years; she grew up in Colorado where she spent most of her time enjoying the outdoors with friends and family. In her spare time, Marissa enjoys volunteer work, creative activities, reading crime novels, baking, and long bike rides.
