PHOENIX - Key Persons
Job Titles:
- Vice President Marketing and Business Development
Ameet is responsible for global marketing and business development. He has worked with a wide variety of companies from large multinationals such as IBM and Fujitsu to startups like Swan Labs (acquired by F5 Networks) and Shenick Networks (acquired by Aeroflex). Ameet has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA in Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Barry joined the Board in August 2023. He is the Principal of DVRX Advisory. Previously, he was a partner with McCann FitzGerald for 25 years, leading both the Corporate Group and the Corporate Finance Group, ultimately becoming Managing Partner. Prior to that Barry spent 10 years with Clifford Chance, initially working in London before relocating for a number of years to Singapore as its Head of Corporate Finance for South East Asia.

Charles is responsible for our Global Customer Engineering & Program Management teams. He joined Phoenix in November 2009. Prior to Phoenix, Charles worked at Intrinsyc, Microsoft and Fujitsu in various engineering and program management positions. He has a master's degree in computer engineering from University of Wisconsin, Madison and a degree in electrical engineering with cum laude honors from Washington State University.
Conor is responsible for global finance. He has over 14 years of finance experience including managing a number of fundraisings and transactions. He is a Chartered Accountant with a diploma in corporate finance. Conor also holds a Bachelor of Business and Law (first class honours/summa cum laude) from University College Dublin.
Dwight joined the Board in 2021. He is Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at FutureDial Inc., a leading provider of mobile device processing solutions. He has also worked in Brand Management at Disney's home entertainment division and was Producer of software entertainment. Dwight has an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and double degrees in Molecular Cell Biology and Environmental Science from the University of California at Berkeley.

Gerard led the acquisition of Phoenix in 2021. He has over 20 years of experience leading fast-growing international technology businesses. Prior to Phoenix, he was founder and CEO of a number of technology companies including Spectel which was later sold to Avaya, and Shenick Network Systems which was sold to Aeroflex. He holds an electronic engineering degree and an MBA from University College Dublin and a master's degree in engineering from Trinity College Dublin.

Jim is responsible for Phoenix' Global R&D team and is Head of Engineering. He joined Phoenix in April 20 04. Ji m also leads the Phoenix Security Team and has over 15 years of boot firmware experience with both UEFI and legacy BIOS. He holds a degree in Computing and Software Systems with magna cum laude honors from University of Washington.
Jonathan has over 25 years' experience as a CFO in growing international technology and biotech companies including fundraisings, IPOs and trade sales. Prior to Phoenix, he was CFO of a number technology companies including Spectel, which was sold to Avaya, Escher Group, a London listed technology company and Trinity Biotech, a Nasdaq listed company. He is a Chartered accountant and a graduate of business from Trinity College Dublin.

Ken is responsible for global enterprise sales. He has held numerous sales, delivery and operations leadership positions in the development, and delivery of technological business transformation initiatives and security services for Unisys, General Dynamics and HP. Ken holds a bachelor's degree in public administration with a minor in business management.
Kevin joined the Phoenix Board in January 2021. He retired from Xilinx Inc. in early 2020 where he had served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He was appointed Global CIO in 2004. From 2008-2020 in addition to his CIO role, he also held the position of Managing Director of Xilinx EMEA. Prior to Xilinx, Kevin spent 11 years with DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) in various IT management positions in Ireland and Scotland. Kevin has served on the Board of Directors of IDA Ireland since June 2018.

Michelle is responsible for Global Sales & Field Operations at Phoenix. She joined Phoenix in April 2007. Before her current role, Michelle oversaw numerous operations at 2Wire/DSL Gateway and HP/Compaq/DEC. She holds two degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from Fitchburg State University.

Rebecca heads the engineering team in Taiwan. She has worked at Phoenix for 13+ years and has extensive experience with every major computer OEM and silicon vendor. In addition to leading engineering teams, she has also worked in OEM sales at McAfee (Intel Security) and First International Computer. Rebecca has a Bachelor of Science from Tung-Hai University in Taiwan and an MBA from the University of Portland.

Richard is responsible for Phoenix's relationship with international standards groups. He joined Phoenix in 20 10. He is a UEFI board member and participates in numerous security-related working groups. Richard has over 30 years of security, firmware and OS experience with organizations including HP, Microsoft, Amazon and Digital Equipment Corp. He holds a MS in Computer Science from the National Technological University and a PhD from Nova Southeastern University.
Terry is responsible for future product innovation and silicon vendor relationships. He joined Phoenix in 1991 as a senior engineer, having begun his BIOS engineering career working for a Taiwanese PC ODM. He has an MSEE degree from Penn State University.
