PFPI

At present, PFPI is one of the consortium partners of the USAID Fish Right Program. It is the lead organization in the Calamianes Island Group marine key biodiversity area, one of the three project sites of Fish Right. Fish Right is a partnership between the Government of the Philippines (GOP) and the U.S. Agency for International Development, implemented by the University of Rhode Island ™s Coastal Resources Center in collaboration with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and other Philippine partner organizations. The Program will support the GOP and other key fisheries stakeholders to improve management e"ectiveness and compliance so as to reduce threats to fisheries and marine biodiversity.
