Danielle Horsley

Danielle Horsley is a Veterinary Technician who has been with Pet's Friend Animal Clinic since April of 2007 and began her career in animal care in 2003. Additionally, she is registered as a veterinary technician in the state of California and has a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Systemic Biology. A born multi-tasker, Danielle says, 'I like working at Pet's Friend because everyone is very caring and professional. I like the diversity of the cases we see.' Her pets include a Chihuahua/Corgi mix named Heidi and a cat named Keisha. Her interests include caring for her two boys as well as reading, scrapbooking and cooking.

Dr. Ardith Wang

Job Titles:

Dr. Ardith Wang is originally a Bay Area native, and received her BS in Wildlife from Purdue University. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis. Her professional interests include preventative care, internal medicine, and integrative medicine. She plans on obtaining her veterinary acupuncture certification in the near future. When Dr. Wang is not on the job, she loves spending time with her fur children (Saffron, her orange tabby, and Ice Cream, her maltese), hiking and exploring outdoors, catching up on various shows, trying new foods, and travelling (when COVID permits). She is excited to join the Pet's Friend team and looks forward to meeting you and your furry friends.

Dr. Chelsea Davidson

Dr. Chelsea Davidson has been a member of the Pet's Friend Animal Clinic medical team since 2004. Dr. Davidson's decision to become a veterinarian was influenced by her childhood dog, a golden retriever named Rebel. Her work passion is nurturing the bond between people and their pets. Dr. Davidson attended Clemson University where she routinely made the Dean's List and was a member of the Clemson rowing team. In 1996, she entered Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. During veterinary school she was honored with the Human-Animal Bond Award. Dr. Davidson is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Dr. Davidson and her husband are parents of twins, a boy and girl. She and her family share their home with Tanner, an enthusiastic golden retriever. She has become an expert at balancing a busy life and enjoys baking, running, reading, and crossword puzzles.

Dr. Erica Koski

Dr. Erica Koski has been a member of the Pet's Friend Animal Clinic medical team since 2013 and became medical director in 2021. She was born and raised in the San Francisco East Bay, and spent her undergraduate years at California Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo on the central coast. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she moved back to the East Bay to work as a registered veterinary technician prior to attending veterinary school. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Dr. Koski completed a one-year small animal internship in Santa Rosa prior to joining the Pet's Friend Animal Clinic medical team. When not at work Dr. Koski can be found spending time with her cats, Hunter and Zeke, visiting with family and friends, or enjoying the outdoors exploring the many hiking and biking trails along the peninsula.

Dr. Meghan Foote

Dr. Meghan Foote is originally from the small coastal city of Coronado, California, located off the coast of San Diego. She earned her B.S. in Animal Science from UC Davis, and then attended UC Davis for her veterinary education. Her love of veterinary medicine started at a young age, where she learned about the field from her grandfather, a practicing veterinarian at the time. Her professional interests include small animal radiology, feline medicine, dermatology, and fear free practices. In her free time she enjoys hiking and exploring different areas of California with her dog, Guinness, as well as baking pies, knitting, dancing, Disneyland trips, and traveling the globe as much as possible. One of her more recent trips was to Sri Lanka in 2018, where she studied feline behavior and assisted on a project studying the microbiome of the Asian elephant. She is so excited to be joining the Pet's Friend family!

Dr. Ruby Hsieh

Dr. Ruby Hsieh is a southern California native who attended the University of California, Davis where she earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science in 2010. She then moved to St. Paul, Minnesota for 4 years to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Minnesota in 2015 after which she realized the snow was a bit much and returned to sunny California. While working in general practice in the San Francisco bay area, her interest in preventive medicine drove her to complete a Master's degree in Public Health and Certification in Public health in 2020. She is excited to use her knowledge of public health and understanding of One Health to better serve clients and promote a healthy happy bond between pets and their owners. Her interest in the human animal bond and goal to promote both the physical and emotional well being of pets led her to become Fear Free certified in 2020. Currently Dr. Hsieh is working on improving her Mandarin so she can better support the needs of pet owners for whom English is a second language. Dr. Hsieh and her husband are proud pet parents to a mischievous 8 year old corgi mix named Louis and an energetic Chihuahua Border Collie mix named Sadie whose antics keep life interesting. On her off time Dr. Hsieh enjoys cooking and baking, gardening, hiking, and exploring the Bay Area. Her current favorite international travel experience was when she visited Tibet and Mount Everest base camp and she hopes to be able to do some more international exploring in the future. She is also happy to cuddle up at home with fantasy and science fiction novels or a good romantic comedy drama.

Robin Oliveira

  • Lead Client Service Representative
Robin Oliveira is our Lead Client Service Representative and has been a member of the Pet's Friend Animal Clinic staff since May of 2003. Additionally, she is studying to become a certified practice manager. Robin has always had quite a bit of compassion and empathy for animals and finds talking and building relationships with our clients to be her favorite parts of her job. At home, Robin has a Chihuahua/Terrier mix named Dixie and a 15-year-old Chihuahua mix rescue named Candy. Her interests include hiking, knitting, and reading.

Tatiana Smith

Originally from the Sacramento area, Dr. Smith is happy to be living in the Bay Area close to family and friends. She has wanted to be a veterinarian ever since she was 5 years old and she dedicated her early years to achieving this goal working in veterinary clinics growing up. She attended the University of California, Davis for both her bachelor's degree and her veterinary degree. She spent the first years of practice in the Central Valley working as a mixed animal veterinarian but found her niche in small animal medicine and is blessed to be part of the Pet's Friend team. Her passions include dermatology, cytology, and client communication. She enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets and forming trusting and long-lasting bonds. Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, and her workout routine. Singing has also been a passion for her - she is currently a member of the Sunnyvale Singers and loves being part of the community. She is an avid cat lover and has two felines of her own: Fred and George. She loves to explore all that the Bay Area has to offer including all the wonderful food and culture in the region. One of her current focuses is improving her Spanish skills to help serve the Spanish-speaking South Bay community.
