Each agency in our family has long been rooted in its local communities which creates a culture of familiarity, understanding, and opens up our network for activities and employment opportunities... CBC Community Innovations was founded in 1988 on the belief that people aren't numbers and they shouldn't be treated that way. Since then, we've served NC's intellectually and/or developmentally disabled (I/DD) population, and have built a model focused on helping each individual achieve three important things: Growth, Incremental Independence, and Community Involvement.
