David Crouch - COO

David Crouch has rejoined Plymouth in 2022 as Chief Operating officer. Early in his career, David began with Plymouth as the Winamac Hot Mill Production Manager. In 2012, he was the General Manager of Salisbury followed by a transfer to the Hopkinsville location. In 2019, David accepted the role of Group Vice President, responsible for overseeing Corporate Engineering, the Hopkinsville mill and the Winamac facilities. Most recently, David worked with AMG Vanadium as the Vice President of Operations. David has spent the majority of his career applying lean practices while leading turn around initiatives in the Automotive and Metals industries. He is experienced in heading operations in the private equity, family owned, and public sectors with P&L's ranging from $10M to $350M.

Deb Lange

Job Titles:
  • Director of Finance and Accounting
Deb Lange joined Plymouth in 1987 and has held positions of leadership and influence in finance, accounting and IT at both the corporate and mill level. Today, Deb oversees all financial and accounting functions of the company, including management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities. She was promoted to Director of Finance and Accounting in January 2020. Known for her strengths in creating team member engagement and in serving as an advocate for company culture, Deb works collaboratively with senior management to establish, monitor and enforce internal controls, prepare budgets, analyze production activities, identify new business opportunities, and develop capital investments plans that help to ensure the company's long-term viability and success. Deb holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from North Central College and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Holly Both - CMO

Holly Both joined Plymouth in 1996 and has since held positions of increased responsibility in marketing, inside sales, customer service and innovation. Today, Holly champions the development of marketing and brand strategies designed to differentiate Plymouth in a dynamic, global marketplace. A compelling blend of analytical and creative competencies, Holly combines extensive knowledge and industry expertise with the ability to execute scalable strategies that drive impactful results and cultivate long-term customer loyalty. Holly also serves as Chair of Women in Titanium, a sub-group of the International Titanium Association that focuses on growth of the overall titanium industry by mentoring and providing development and networking opportunities for women in the industry. Holly holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Jim Japczyk - CFO

Jim Japczyk joined Plymouth in 2023 as CFO, bringing over 20 years of comprehensive experience and strong leadership across various industries. His expertise in leveraging cash management, turnaround accounting and operational finance showcases his strong financial acumen. He believes in fostering partnerships, both as a builder and mentor, in order to improve financial outcomes. Prior to joining Plymouth, Jim held notably successful and rewarding CFO positions at Spinrite, Optimas Solutions, D&W Fine Pack and Utilities, INC. His achievements span a variety of industries (manufacturing, industrial distribution, consumer products, food packaging, and utility consumer services), investors (primarily PE portfolio companies) and board reporting and governance responsibilities. He holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Loyola University Chicago and an MBA Finance from DePaul Driehaus College of Business. He is an enthusiast of volunteering his time to charities and previously advised on the Finance Sub committee in the City of Elmhurst. Jim was honored to receive the FEI 2018 CFO of the year, Large Private Company (Chicago Chapter), showcasing his positive impacts for both the company and investors.

Lucas Kammerzell

Lucas Kammerzell joined Plymouth in 2023 to lead the standardization and optimization of the supply chain and purchasing functions for the company. Lucas has held a number of operational and supply chain roles of increasing responsibility for Fortune 500 manufacturing and name brand CPG companies, most recently leading Supply Chain Planning for a large CPG company. Lucas is passionate about partnering with sales, finance, and operations to drive efficiencies that enhance the customer experience while removing cost from the business. Lucas received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Pete Murray

  • Interim CEO
Pete Murray joined Plymouth as a member of the Board of Directors in January 2023 and was named interim CEO in February of the same year. With an extensive background leading and growing the profitability of family-owned metals businesses, Pete is driving transformation at Plymouth aimed at improving customer performance and financial strength. Prior to Plymouth, Pete enjoyed a thirty-one-year career with ALCOA and Charter Manufacturing Company, Inc. that included roles as President of Charter Wire LLC, Charter Automotive LLC and Charter Dura-Bar, Inc. He brings extensive background in ferrous metals manufacturing and distribution, fluid power and automotive industries. In his immediate prior role, Pete's team implemented a series of pricing and portfolio improvement initiatives to speed time to market and enhance financial performance, while driving LEAN operational improvements in safety, quality, delivery, supply security, and cost. Pete champions cultures of trust, teamwork, safety and continuous improvement. Throughout his career Pete has been active in trade associations and industry groups, including the Cold Finished Steel Bar Institute, Original Equipment Suppliers Association, American Foundry Society and National Fluid Power Association. Pete holds a BA in Economics from Queen's University and an MBA from Marquette University.

Scott Patkus

Scott Patkus joined the Plymouth team in 2023 as our Vice President of Human Resources. As a member of the executive leadership team, Scott is responsible for aligning the Human Resources and Talent Strategy to strengthen company structure and to build and sustain leadership and organizational capability as a source of competitive advantage. Prior to joining Plymouth, Scott has held several HR leadership roles over 20 years supporting various global functions and business segments within GE Healthcare, Acuity Brands Lighting, Schneider Electric, and US Gypsum. Scott has a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Northern Illinois, as well as one of the first to hold the Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
