PITTSBURGH CPA - Key Persons

Kathy Hess

Job Titles:
  • Certified Public Accountant
Kathy has been practicing as a tax accountant and financial advisor for over 30 years. At the heart of her practice is a process that enables successful individuals and families to achieve more of the things they value in life - sooner - by effectively integrating tax, investment, and if applicable, business-building strategies into their daily routines. The result is a lifetime coaching methodology that inspires and educates individuals and entrepreneurs alike, to overcome internal and external barriers to success. Kathy is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Coach, Certified Valuation Analyst and is NASD licensed in Series 6, 7 and 63. She began her career with Price Waterhouse in Pittsburgh, and was Director of the Pittsburgh office's business valuation, employee benefits, and health care specialty groups when she left in 1986 to form her own firm. A frequent lecturer on how to achieve financial freedom, Kathy has developed and presented scores of programs to her colleagues both while at Price Waterhouse, and more recently, on behalf of the Pennsylvania and American Institute of CPA's. She also participates regularly in formal and informal radio and television broadcasts throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia on the topics of tax, financial planning and wealth building. Kathy's diverse background, multi-disciplined certifications and uncommon ability to listen and understand what is really the obstacle, provides her clients the opportunity to tap into her experience, overcome barriers, adopt transforming strategies and confidently achieve more of what they value sooner. A sole practictioner, Kathy believes a one-on-one approach is key to understanding her client's needs and challenges. And because of this, the services she and her team provide are designed around one goal: to make your job easier and your life richer.
