PREFERRED SERVICE - Key Persons
Amanda began her journey with Preferred Service fifteen years ago in an administrative role and now oversees our daily operations. She is a Certified Professional - Food Safety through the National Environmental Health Association and is currently completing her Master's Degree in Business Management through the Extension School at Harvard University. In addition to work and school, Amanda is dedicated to her Church, family, friends, and according to her husband, way too many volunteer activities.

- Division Director - Janitorial Services
We met Brian twenty years ago as the owner of a floor stripping business. He was persuaded to join our team and is now leading our Janitorial Services Division. He is a dedicated professional who has built a reputation for commitment and follow through. Brian, or "Choppy", is a hands on leader and the heart of his team. Thanks to his varied experience, he is an expert in our services as well as the equipment and products behind them. You are just as likely to see Choppy out with his team working through a unique issue as walking with a store manager. You may think he would blame his increasing hair loss on his heavy work load but, according to Choppy, it has more to do with his four daughters at home.
Brian joined the Preferred Service team over twenty years ago as a service provider to supplement his career as a paramedic and firefighter. In the years since, he has performed, trained and lead others in nearly every service we provide on his way to lead our organization. If asked, he will tell you that he is still as comfortable with a wrench in his hand as he is behind a desk. In addition to being a great leader, Brian is a devoted Christian, husband, father, and fisherman. Fun fact: Brian is also a huge softball fan. We think it may have something to do with his MVP daughter.

- Division Director - Equipment Maintenance and Repair
Edward was recruited as a Maintenance Technician at a Christmas party almost thirteen years ago and is now leading the division. Not only does he lead a group of technicians operating throughout the east coast but he is also their first call to troubleshoot unusual or difficult issues. Edward stays current in his knowledge and is often seen in our workshop with a piece of equipment that others have given up on. Machines have been sent from half way across the US to our shop for maintenance. Don't worry; Edward still has time to be very dedicated to his hobbies which primarily include golf and fishing.

January joined our team three years ago as scheduling coordinator and has grown into her current role which includes more hats than the Kentucky derby. January's successful history as a retail store manager has helped her to uniquely understand the challenges, needs, and priorities of our customer base. In addition to her effort on the job, January is working to complete her Bachelor's degree from Southern New Hampshire University. When she is not working or studying, January is busy with friends, volunteer activities, and chasing the three men, both big and little, in her life.

Justin brought his extensive experience and expertise to Preferred Service five years ago and built our concrete division from the ground up. He joined us for the opportunity to take on a new challenge using his thirteen years of knowledge in concrete polishing and coatings. Justin has grown his team along with his scope of work to ensure each and every customer's needs are met. When he isn't busy leading his team, he can be found on the golf course, reeling in a "big" fish, or trying to keep up with his three kids.
Mel served our country with distinction in the U.S Army followed by the US Army Reserve earning the rank of Captain. He has been a Certified Public Accountant for over forty years and has varied experience including city government, private industry, public accounting and large international construction. Mel is a devoted father and foodie who, has biked across the U.S.A, flown hot air balloons, and is always ready for the next adventure.
