Les has over thirty years experience practicing in the Northern Territory. During this period Les has successfully managed his own Architectural Practice (Les Platt Architects I Platt Keeler Architects I Platt Consultants) in both the Top End and Alice Springs. In addition, Les was NT Manager of national architects Woods Bagot's Darwin Office for a number of years. Les's experience has included the delivery of substantial major projects both in the arid and tropical regions of the NT including: Alice Springs Prison ($35m) Strehlow Research Centre ($3m) Arafura Timor Research Facility - New Laboratory ($5m) PowerWater Corporation New Office & Workshop (4 star Green Rating - $9m) Bellamack Village Residential Development ($8m) Les has extensive experience in facility planning and in the master planning of complex facilities. Les Platt is a senior Architect with many years of experience in the design and application of energy efficient and sustainable design principles for building in both the Top End and Central Australia.
