Dr. Charles Daniel

Dr. Daniel has been practicing medicine for 20+ years and is proud to call Colorado home. He believes the Colorado countryside and the community of caring people are a blessing. His secondary education initiated at Iowa State University where he majored in Microbiology. Subsequently, he attended Des Moines University School of Medicine where he completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree to achieve his quest of becoming a physician. During his medical training, he had the opportunity to participate in multiple medical externships around the country which allowed valuable exposure to the various technologies and techniques available in modern medicine. Ultimately, this course led to his post graduate medical training and surgical residency at Stanford University Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. His post graduate training included an extensive amount of foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, and primary clinical care. In addition, he experienced extensive training in multiple collaborative specialties provided through the Stanford University setting as well as the Palo Alto/Livermore Veterans Administrative Medical Center systems. This concomitant medical care allowed significant exposure to whole body healthcare with a solid understanding of how the human body is truly an amazing, elaborate, integrated machine. Through many years of private practice, he has gained invaluable experience which is called upon when caring for those in need. Dr. Daniel believes it is very important to work closely with a patient or client in order to achieve the common goal of restoration of foot/ankle health to its maximum functional state as efficiently as possible. Dr. Daniel feels it is an honor when an individual chooses to put their trust and confidence in his abilities. It is equally as gratifying to share the medical practice experience with some of the most caring physician partners in Colorado. Dr. Daniel wants to sincerely thank all who put their trust in him as he continues his endeavor to restore foot and ankle health to those in need.

Dr. Christopher Scotten

Dr. Christopher Michael Scotten was born and raised in central Montana and received his undergraduate degree from Montana State University and graduate degree from Boise State University. He then received his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from Dr. William M Scholl College of Podiatry in North Chicago. Dr. Scotten then performed his residency program in Chicago at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he trained with a multitude of highly respected podiatrists. He received extensive experience in wound care, foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine, biomechanics, rearfoot and forefoot surgeries. Dr. Scotten grew up competing in almost every sport including wrestling, football, baseball, soccer, basketball, swimming and golf, so he is familiar with many types of sporting injuries. His interest in podiatric medicine was peaked after working as a medical sales rep for 3 years and his family's history of working in the medical field. He is currently board qualified with American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Forefoot and Rearfoot Reconstructive Surgery. He is also a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association. Outside of work, Dr. Scotten is a keen golfer and enjoys watching all sports. He is also extremely excited to move back West and set down roots in Colorado with his wife and daughter.

Dr. Daniel Clymer

A Colorado native from the Denver Metro Area, Dr. Daniel Clymer is an experienced and highly-skilled foot and ankle surgeon. He graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a degree in Biology, then pursued his career in podiatric surgery by attending Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating in 2012, Dr. Clymer remained in Philadelphia for his residency training at Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center in the University of Pennsylvania Health System. While there, he had the honor of being selected to serve his final year as Chief Resident. It was during this time that he acquired his knowledge of diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, learning from several industry leaders. Following his residency, Dr. Clymer headed to KentuckyOne Health-University of Louisville, in Louisville, Kentucky to complete his fellowship training with an emphasis on traumatic lower extremity injuries. He then brought all this wealth of knowledge and skill back here to Colorado, and is proud to call the Denver Metro area home again!

Dr. Jane Schamber

Jane was born and raised in New Zealand and came to the US on an athletic scholarship. After completing her 4 years as a collegiate athlete and her Bachelor of Science with a focus in sport science, Jane married her now husband, Jay, and they moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where Jane completed her doctorate in physical therapy with honors from the University of Pittsburgh. In her first job after completing her education, Jane was the lead therapist in a rural clinic where they treated all age groups and conditions. She then went on to work in a clinic affiliated with orthopedic surgeons and sport medicine doctors. She enjoyed the close working relationship and the opportunities this position provided. While in this position she also performed weekend work in the local hospital system. One of her proudest work accomplishments is developing a rehabilitation program for the workmen's compensation providers in the region. Jane moved to Colorado in 2019 and is enjoying the new position with Castle Pines Physical Therapy and Podiatry Associates. She enjoys treating all different conditions and body parts and her philosophy is to treat the whole person with the goal of achieving the highest level of function possible. Jane has some extended training in McKenzie principles and is in the process of becoming certified in Dry Needling. When Jane is not at work most of her time is spent with her husband and 3 young boys. Jane enjoys the outdoors and exploring Colorado.

Dr. Katie Neidecker

Dr. Katie Lyn Neidecker hails from the Sunshine State and studied at the University of West Florida before receiving her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Neidecker completed her residency at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA, where she received extensive training in podiatric medicine and surgery, with emphasis on sports-related and overuse injuries, biomechanics, foot and ankle trauma, as well as limb deformity correction and reconstruction. Dr. Neidecker is board certified in Podiatric Medicine by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). Dr. Neidecker has always been an active individual. She is no stranger to foot and ankle injuries herself, which sparked her interest in sports medicine and her pursuit of becoming a foot and ankle specialist. She knows how aggravating foot and ankle injuries and pain can be and is determined to get you back to doing all the things you love. In her free time, Dr. Neidecker enjoys running, hiking, biking, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr. Lindsy Allen

Dr. Lindsy Allen grew up in Highlands Ranch, CO before going off to the University of West Georgia to play softball. After graduating with honors with her BS in Biology, she then received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Allen went on to complete her surgical residency at Phoenixville Hospital, in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then made the move to Santa Fe, New Mexico where she treated a wide variety of foot and ankle conditions, specializing in sports medicine and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Allen treats patients of all ages and focuses on both conservative and surgical treatment to keep her patients active, healthy, and happy. She is board qualified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Forefoot and Rearfoot Reconstructive Surgery and is affiliated with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, as well as the Colorado Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Allen is an avid Colorado sports fan and loves cheering on the Rockies, Broncos, Avalanche and Nuggets. Outside of the spending time with her husband and their two dogs, she enjoys hiking, playing frisbee golf, target shooting, and traveling. Dr. Allen is proud to return home to Colorado and serve her community.

Dr. Meghan Blanchet

Dr. Meghan Blanchet completed her podiatric medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences in southern California, where she earned several awards and scholarships, and graduated in the top of her class. She then completed her residency at Inova Fairfax Medical Center in northern Virginia. At Inova, she performed over 1700 procedures, receiving extensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including ankle arthroscopy, adult and pediatric reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery including minimally-invasive techniques, limb salvage, total ankle arthroplasty, as well as trauma and reconstructive plastic surgery. She has co-authored multiple research posters presented at national conferences. Dr. Blanchet is especially passionate about sports medicine, which was sparked through her experience as a Division I collegiate runner at Gonzaga University. Her ultimate goal is to keep her patients sustainably active, strong, and pain-free. Dr. Blanchet is originally from Gig Harbor, WA. She enjoys staying active through running, barre, pilates, and yoga. She also loves exploring the outdoors through biking and hiking, watching football, testing new paleo recipes, and traveling.

Dr. Michael Zyzda

Dr. Zyzda has been practicing in Denver and the surrounding communities since 1989. He began his career in health care as a nurse, first graduating from St. Joseph School of Nursing in Sioux City, IA as a Registered Nurse and then working in intensive care. He continued his studies at Briar Cliff University, also in Sioux City, IA, obtaining his BS in Nursing. His attention then turned to medicine, receiving his doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, IA. Finally, Dr. Zyzda attended the Veterans Administration Podiatric Surgical Residency in Denver, CO. Special emphasis during his residency included reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma, advanced wound care, severe infections, and preventing amputations in diabetics. Dr. Zyzda is Board Certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Surgery as well as the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Continued training includes endoscopic surgery, shock wave therapy, and laser surgery. Dr. Zyzda gives back to his profession in 3 ways: 1) teaches residents from the PSL Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency, 2) member of the Residency Executive Advisory Board for PSL Foot and Ankle Surgical residency, and 3) member of the Medical Executive Committee for Summit View Surgical Center. He is a former foot and ankle specialist for the Denver Nuggets Basketball Team.

Dr. Olivia Stransky

Dr. Olivia Stransky, originally from northern California, graduated from the prestigious three year residency training program at HighlandsPresbyterian St. Lukes Podiatric Surgical Residency. Her studies began at the University of California Santa Cruz where she earned a BS in Health Sciences. Yes, she is a banana slug! Later she earned her Doctorate of Podiatric medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt and completed her fourth year clinical at Maricopa County Hospital in Phoenix, Az. As a result of her residency training Dr Stransky developed a keen interest in sports medicine, the treatment of arthritis, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma, biomechanics and diabetic foot care. Outside of podiatry, Dr. Stransky enjoys numerous outdoor activities. An avid runner, Dr. Stransky competes in ultra-marathons. Weekends you can find her exploring the greater Denver area bike trails or in the high country. Other activities she enjoys includes downhill skiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, rock climbing and climbing the 14ers. Dr. Stransky also enjoys traveling the world and has spent time living in Italy and Mexico. She is fluent in Italian and medical Spanish. Dr. Stranksy is married and has two daughter

Dr. Patrick Thompson

From an early age, Dr. Thompson knew he wanted to become a physician. He was born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan and attended Central Michigan University where he received his undergraduate degree in Health Fitness. From there he attended Western Michigan University, where he obtained a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology. He went on to complete medical school at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, and completed his surgical residency training at Beaumont Hospital in Wayne, Michigan. During his residency, he focused on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma, and sports medicine. It was during this time he learned to treat patients with great care and compassion, and the importance of educating them on their conditions. These are lessons he has carried with him, and continues to practice each day. Dr. Thompson is married, with two children. When he is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, and snowboarding.

Julie Petersen

Julie graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1982. She began her career in a county hospital with rota tions including outpatient care, inpatient acute care, chest physical therapy, acute Rehabilitation, and home care services. She relocated to Boulder, Colorado in 1987 due to her love for outdoor activities, fitness and a healthy lifestyle. There she focused her clinical skills for multiple years working full time in outpatient orthopedics and manual therapy. After a relocation to Texas in 2002, she worked for several years in Acute Care Hospital setting and Sub acute rehabilitation settings. Her many years of clinical practice has taught her a lot about empathy for those with acute and chronic pain conditions, as well as post-surgical care. She uses motivational and clinical tools to assist patients from all age groups and conditions to return to their individual optim al functional mobilit y and activities. She joined Podiatry Associates in April 2020 and is enjoying the transition back to outpatient orthopedic Rehabilitation.
