Polar Bear Construction has been building custom homes and providing services for residential remodels and additions since 1985. Since the company's inception, one of owner Barrett Burr's main goals has been to offer his customers opportunities to incorporate, "green building" technologies and materials into their projects. In the 1980's, this was called "energy efficient construction"; in the 1990's, "healthy home design"; and now it's called "green building", or "sustainable design."... At Polar Bear Construction, we listen carefully to our customers and work diligently to understand their design goals and criteria. We strive to constantly educate ourselves regarding the latest construction technologies and present these new ideas, when appropriate and applicable, to our customers... In the end, Polar Bear Construction creates a project that is good for the customer, good for the company, and good for the place where we all live.
