Alex Avery - CEO

Mr. Avery brings more than 20 years of real estate and capital markets experience, including serving on the board of trustees of H&R REIT from 2017 through 2021, and as Executive Vice President, Asset Management & Strategic Initiatives at H&R REIT from 2020 through the spin-off of Primaris REIT in 2021 where he also served on the board of trustees until 2023. Previous roles include portfolio management of real estate securities with FrontFour Capital, more than 12 years as a sell-side equity analyst at CIBC Capital Markets, and transaction and advisory roles with Altus Group.

Anne Fitzgerald - Chief Legal Officer, Secretary

Ms. Fitzgerald is a corporate director. Until 2022 Ms. Fitzgerald was Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary at Cineplex Inc. where she was employed for seventeen years. Ms.Fitzgerald was a key member of the senior executive team at Cineplex Inc. during a period of transformation, directing approximately $1 billion in commercial acquisitions, multiple public offerings of equity and debt securities, the conversion from an income trust to a corporation, and the unconsummated merger and resulting successful litigation with Cineworld. Ms. Fitzgerald currently serves on the Board of Directors for each of NOVA Cannabis Inc. and LifeSpeak Inc. She also volunteers her time as the Chair of Board of Outward Bound Canada. She received a Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, attended the Leadership Studies program at Harvard University, and holds the ICD.D designation.

Avtar Bains

Mr. Bains is both the founder and President of Premise Properties, a privately held owner and developer of multi-residential, office, retail, and industrial property across select North American centres, based in Vancouver. Mr. Bains spent more than 30 years as a leading property broker with Colliers International, leaving the firm in 2011 as Executive Vice-President. Mr. Bains maintains strong relationships in local, national, and international property markets, is involved in several charitable organizations and is a speaker at industry events sponsored by the Urban Development Institute, NAIOP, the Vancouver and Toronto Real Estate Forums and the University of British Columbia, among others. Mr. Bains is also a board member of Morguard, North American Residential REIT, the Peterson Group and UBC Properties Trust.

Claire Mahaney

Ms. Mahaney has over 15 years of real estate capital markets experience, including establishing Real Asset Strategies Inc.​ Ms. Mahaney has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Finance and Marketing, from Coastal Carolina University, a Masters in Financial Management from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, is a CFA charterholder, and is a FSA Credential Holder from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board. ​ Previously, Ms. Mahaney led Investor Relations at Crombie REIT. Prior to that, she was part of the strategy and research team at Cadillac Fairview and a REIT analyst at Sentry Investments (now CI Financial), analyzing and recommending global real estate investments.

Craig McClellan

With over 11 years of leasing experience in the enclosed shopping center industry, Mr. McLellan joined Primaris in 2012. At present, his role involves overseeing leasing activity for all properties located in British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba.

Deborah Weinswig

Deborah Weinswig is the CEO and Founder of Coresight Research since its inception in 2018. Between 2014 to early 2018, Ms. Weinswig served as Managing Director of Fung Global Retail and Technology, the think tank of The Fung Group. Previously, she was Managing Director and Head of the Global Staples & Consumer Discretionary team at Citi Research. She serves on the board of directors for AAFA (American Apparel and Footwear Association), CHW Acquisition Corp, Goodwill Industries New York/New Jersey, GUESS?, Inc., Kiabi, Street Soccer USA, Xcel Brands, Inc. and Retailers United. Deborah is also on the CRC Blue Council of ULI and the North American Research Group for ICSC as well as a member of YPO. She also is an advisor to several global accelerators and startups. Deborah is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Graham Procter

Mr. Procter brings an accounting background and 20 years of experience in the real estate industry to overseeing asset management, operations, property accounting and lease administration at Primaris. Prior to joining Primaris in 2017, Mr. Procter worked at Brookfield Property Partners and Cogir Real Estate.

Joseph Martino

Mr. Martino has responsibility for Primaris' overall Information Technology strategy. He has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, Digital Transformation and Technology Operations. Mr. Martino was previously consulting on ERP and major Digital Transformation projects and prior to that, Global VP of Information Technology at a market leader in connected vehicle and sensor technology.

Kathleen Girardeau

Kathleen Girardeau leads Primaris' Western Canadian property teams including operations, strategic planning, leasing, marketing, development and specialty leasing.

Lauren Robbers

With over 15 years of Leasing experience in the shopping centre industry, Mrs. Robbers joined Primaris in 2021. Currently, she is responsible for overseeing leasing activity for properties located in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Previously, Mrs. Robbers held a Director, Retail Leasing at JLL for Eastern Canada, and prior to that had progressive roles at Ivanhoe Cambridge and Cadillac Fairview. She also holds an Ontario Real Estate Licence and a Leasing accreditation from ICSC.

Leigh Murray

With over 25 years of experience in the enclosed shopping centre industry, Ms. Murray currently leads national leasing and Design & Construction for Primaris REIT. In addition, she is also responsible for leasing Devonshire Mall in Windsor and Dufferin Mall in Toronto. She is also the Broker of Record for all Ontario properties. Ms. Murray joined Oxford Properties in 2003 with a specific focus on assets managed on behalf of Primaris and has worked on the Primaris portfolio for nearly 20 years. Prior to that, she had positions in leasing with Boston Pizza and Northwest Atlantic (currently JLL). Ms. Murray oversees and leads all leasing activity for Primaris Eastern Canadian portfolio and has over 18 years' experience in commercial real estate. Ms. Murray joined Primaris in 2010 and previously held roles with Oxford Properties, in brokerage with Northwest Atlantic, and began working in the real estate department of Boston Pizza International.

Leslie Buist

Ms. Buist earned both her Bachelor of Arts - Cooperative Accounting, and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Waterloo and she is both a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Buist briefly worked with Primaris from 2010-2013 as the Assistant Vice-President, Finance and Vice-President, Finance. She furthered her career by holding senior finance and accounting positions at Choice Properties Real Estate Investment Trust as well as First Capital Real Estate Investment Trust, before settling back at Primaris REIT in Jan 2022 as the Senior Vice-President, Finance.

Louis Forbes

Mr. Forbes is a corporate director, serving as trustee and chair of the audit committee of the board of trustees of Flagship Communities REIT. He was trustee and chair of the audit committee of the board of trustees of Automotive Properties REIT from 2017 - 2022. Mr. Forbes was formerly the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CT Real Estate Investment Trust, serving from the inception of CT REIT in 2013 until 2018. Between 2003 and 2013, Mr. Forbes was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Primaris Retail Real Estate Investment Trust. Prior to serving in that role, Mr. Forbes was Vice President, Director, and Senior Canadian Real Estate Equities Analyst of Merrill Lynch Canada. Mr. Forbes also served as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Revenue Properties Company Limited. Mr. Forbes has over 30 years of real estate and finance experience. Mr. Forbes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Queen's University. Mr. Forbes holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation and completed the Chartered Director Program at the Directors College, McMaster University.

Louise Sullivan

Ms. Sullivan has responsibility with overseeing Primaris' People strategy. With a track record spanning over two decades, she has consistently led human resources strategies and operations for various national and international organizations across diverse industries. In 2023, she joined Primaris after establishing People + Culture Matters Inc., and previously served as the Head of People + Culture at Dream Unlimited Corp.

Mark Halkias

Mordecai Bobrowsky

Mr. Bobrowsky brings nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry to managing all legal affairs at Primaris, encompassing everything from leasing and operations to acquisitions and development. Prior to joining Primaris in 2013, Mr. Bobrowsky was a senior associate at Minden Gross LLP, a leading Bay Street law firm specializing in commercial leasing and held senior legal positions at First Capital Realty and RioCan.

Patrick Sullivan - COO, President

Mr. Sullivan has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Primaris REIT since December 2021, following approximately eight years as Chief Operating Officer of Primaris Management Inc. when it was held as a subsidiary of H&R REIT. Mr. Sullivan has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, spanning brokerage, leasing, operations, asset management and leadership, including 26 years focused on enclosed shopping centres. Mr. Sullivan has directly been involved with investment activity, development, leasing, and operations of more than 50 enclosed shopping centres across Canada. Mr. Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.

Rags Davloor

Mr. Davloor brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Primaris REIT spanning executive and board leadership roles in finance, operations and development, as well as extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions and strategic planning. Stephen Roy

Mr. Roy has been part of the Canadian real estate industry for over 25 years. For the past 19 years, Steve has led over 40 development projects at major Institutional and Pension fund companies, totalling close to 1 billion dollars. Currently, Steve leads the national Development, Construction, and major capital projects team at Primaris REIT.

Timothy Pire - Chairman

Mr. Pire, Chair of the Board, has been a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Madison since 2016. Prior to that, Mr. Pire spent 25 years as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for Heitman's public real estate securities group and was an equity owner of the firm. Mr. Pire received a Master of Science-Business in real estate and a Bachelor of Business Administration, each with an emphasis in Finance, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his CFA in 1995. Mr. Pire is on the Real Estate Board of Advisors for the Applied Real Estate Investment Track at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business and is a member of NAREIT and PREA. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors where he is Governance Fellow, and he is a member of Graaskamp Center Board at University of Wisconsin. Mr. Pire is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and serves on the board of directors of Terrafina, a Mexico-based firm that holds industrial properties.
